a few good bars
and a few good restaurants

Spokane Valley is a dump. Anywhere southwest of Division (where I lived) is fine.

Along the freeway, Trent, and Sprague but there are some great neighborhoods up Dishman Hills way and North Argonne. Same thing up north by the river and Indian Trail.

Hunting - Elk, Moose, white tail, mule deer, upland birds, waterfowl, turkeys
Skiing within 45 minutes
Low cost of living
Hiking
Rock Climbing
Decent food scene
18 public golf courses within a 30 mile radius.
Legalized weed
No traffic and you can literally be in the country within minutes from just about anywhere in the city.
GU basketball
Near perfect weather from June-September with average highs in the 80's and no humidity.
The most beautiful artificial field turf on earth
The dominant football program in the Big Sky Conference
Less hipsters than Missoula or Seattle

I do have to point out that the local music scene sucks donkey balls. Missoula is 1000x better for local bands and the bigger names that play there.
