Again, the discussion was about the actions of the Christian right. There is no debate as to their reasons. It's their values. Same with the Muslim extremists; we know what their reasons are. It's their values. But it doesn't matter what the reasons are. The debate is whether they are "enforcing their will" or, as I stated it, "preservation.....and protection....". One is offensive in nature. The other is defensive. You could certainly argue that the Muslim extremists are "offensive" in nature. I'm saying that I don't see the majority of the Christian right as being "offensive". A minority, possibly.
