Having Ill State (5-0/2-0) @ WIU (3-4/1-2)
but not having VU (5-1/3-0) @ W&M (4-2/1-1) makes no sense.
Granted W&M just got stomped at UNH, but WIU has a losing record and is in the bottom half of the MVFC.

Me thinks VU blows out William & Mary. W&M is good, but VU is that much better.BDKJMU wrote:Having Ill State (5-0/2-0) @ WIU (3-4/1-2)but not having VU (5-1/3-0) @ W&M (4-2/1-1) makes no sense.

Went with SDSU vs UNI, this could end the playoff hopes for UNI or put SDSU at the brink with 3 losses and NDSU still on the schedule in Fargo. UNI get the Bison at home, NDSU vs INST could be a good battle, as with ILST vs WIU.

Good battle or not, a team with a losing record in mid Oct, both overall and in conference, ain't game of the week material, esp when there's 2 other better games in the same conference.Gil Dobie wrote:Me thinks VU blows out William & Mary. Meh, minor oversight. WIU gave NDSU their closest game in 14 years and 2 of the other losses were Wisconsin and Northwestern. Make your own poll.BDKJMU wrote:Having Ill State (5-0/2-0) @ WIU (3-4/1-2)but not having VU (5-1/3-0) @ W&M (4-2/1-1) makes no sense.

If I did people would bitch that there was already a I-AA game of the week 8 poll thread, saying why did you start another, blah, blah..89Hen wrote:89Hen wrote: Make your own poll.

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - Week 8
In any other year, it would be Towson State at Delaware, hands down. Too bad both are down this year.
My off-the-board vote THIS year is Villanova at B&M. It's about the only decent game on the slate....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
Re: I-AA Game of the Week - Week 8
How is MSU/Weber not on this list. The Bobcats will score 70 points, but will give up AT LEAST 700 yards and 60 points. And I will NOT do my own thread.
