You do realize that North Dakota is 2-0 at home this season so far. Both wins are DI counters as well. :coffee:
Oh yes. Those wins over RM and Stony Brook have me shaking in my boots.

Not to mention the fact that they're averaging a whopping 11 PPG on offense. :coffee:
I wasn't home to watch this game. It sounds like JJ got hurt, so that probably affected your offense (hopefully it's just a ding and he's feeling fine soon). Who/how many of your defensive players got knocked out of the game to let UND got more than their average on offense?

Their offense only scored 7. The giraffe threw an awful pick 6 that led to them tying it.
Thankfully he redeemed himself self by throwing a great ball to Jones which set up the winning FG.

Ok let's here it.

The refs were bad. Don't look at the score cause we crushed them ( like NDSU but the Griz won)

Any other excuses?

When does reality set in?

Are the Griz Top 10 or top 15?? Like I said before Reality set in. exposure?

Maybe the two cheap shots that knocked our QB out? Can't wait to see you rationalize those.

Cheap shots are just a part of the game, but only when they hurt Montana. :coffee:

Not rationalizing the two calls, but neither were "cheap shots". On the first one their legs got tangled before he pushed him (still a late hit, but not a cheap shot). The second one the D I don't think heard the whistle, but the griz should not have been called for a personal foul. The way I see it, their is EWU and everyone else in the Big Sky doesn't matter (except the Cats who are still the greatest team)

Except EWU's having trouble with ISU at home.

Chase Cartwright led NAU to victory last week, so what do the 'Jacks do? They start Kyren Poe again, and he throws 3 picks, two of which were returned 80+ yards for touchdowns. :ohno:

I wondered why Poe keeps getting playing time over Cartwright last year, & I'm still wondering now. :?

I have a hard time articulating this thought without a steady stream of obscenities being included.

I can understand going with Poe to start, as he was picked to be the starting qb at the beginning of the season, and he is much more mobile than Cartwright.

But...Poe's decision making process was garbage in the second half. Common sense would say that somewhere around the 3rd interception, and second 80-90 yard pick six thrown, the coaching staff would decide it's time to go with the backup and see if that provides any different results. Yup, that same backup (Cartrwright) who has led NAU to multiple 4th quarter come-back victories and had a career best game just last Saturday.

Souers and his staff haven't had any problems making this switch in the past so it makes me wonder why they wouldn't pull the trigger yesterday? Is Cartwright injured and they won't admit it? Is there currently dissent or division on this team? Is this a case of abject stubbornness and loyalty gone wrong? Inquiring minds ...... all 3-4 vocal NAU internet fans I know ...... want to know.

Credit given where it is due, though. UNC didn't quit and the Bears defense played smart, opportunistic football resulting in NAU losing a game that they, at least statistically, should have won.

Bye week came at a good time.
