You could see it in the ramp up by the establishment media. I say we start a coalition including Syrian Rebels (of non-ISIS persuasion), Assad (don't tell him we're also funding the rebels), Iraq, and Saudi Arabia (but not the Saudi's currently funding ISIS)

It's kind of a perfect storm....we could arm all of them, get them PO'd at each other via propaganda, and have them killing each other. We'd be their buddies for arming them, they'd be preoccupied shooting at each other to worry about us, and the whole size of the pie would shrink as a side effect.

It didn't work in Laos, Cambodia, Libya...I could keep going into more obscure third world countries...but the results are the same.

But hey, it sounds like a great idea, so what could possibly go wrong? I mean, it has to work sometime, right?

We worry about gun in the hands of Americans, while we arm, and train, some of the world's looniest crack pots...all of whom would turn, and have turned, on US interests in a heartbeat.

And yet we have some dopey Congressman on the BBC telling everyone that he wants to arm the Syrian rebels because the ISIS's goal will be to come into the streets of Washington to run up their flag.

Furthermore, we intend to, degrade and destroy ISIS completely.

We've dumped a gazillion tons of munitions on the Taliban and Al Qaeda...are we close to destroying them yet? How about Hezbollah...the Israelis wiped the floor with them yet?

But yeah, Obushma says he can now magically wipe out ISIS (Obama's version of human weapons of mass destruction, because they said they'd be coming to invade us on our shores)...if Obama was just able to spend a bit more on weapons.
