In 2 Div I games EWU has given up close to 1100 yds and 94 points. Great offense and horrid defense ain't going to get you to Frisco...

It'll be different this year! It really, really will!

1). We were down two starters on the dline and a corner for this one and it showed.

2). The game will slow down now as I doubt we'll see any teams as fast, athletic, and with better olines than SHSU and UW.

3). Speaking of every year, ever year we hear how our defense can't stop powerful rushing attacks like SDSU, Nova, UD, and ISU. But we even held T West somewhat in check. We lost close semifinals to two quality teams who everyone had trouble stopping.

Is defense a concern? Yep. Can we make adjustments, get a few of our bullets back, and/or improve?

So if you don't mind, I'm not quite ready to throw the towell...just yet.
