More luxury car sales than ever...

Post by Chizzang »

So are we in a recession?
Because me and the girlfriend went to The Concourse D'Elegance in Pebble Beach this weekend and the general theme from all the top manufacturers was "We're selling more cars than ever"

Aston-Martin had a record year (and their cars are $350K)

You'd probably need just the right Anderson & Sheppard Suit for that car...

Thanks, but you and your nice GF should drive one of those down the main drag in Seattle. Every Starbucks would empty in envy! :lol:

What's wrong with wealthy people purchasing cars?

BTW, electric cars sales are up over 70% in Europe and the US. http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2014/0 ... es-europe/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Those rich bastards in India are gobbling up cars, too. http://online.wsj.com/articles/india-ca ... 1404912497" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

WTF? People of all incomes are buying cars. How can this be? "Industry Report: U.S. Car Sales Are Picking Up Speed BY SAGEWORKS @SAGEWORKS

Holy crap...frugal people are buying cars also. :ohno:

Let me know when a destroyed economy seriously derailed the wealthy. Cripes, people on all sides were making boatloads of money during WWI and WWII...even when towns and countrysides were in ruins. Tons of money made during Vietnam in Vietnam...lots fo money being made in economy buster Ukraine.

Obama hasn't CHANGEd a thing.

If you truly believe that 6% turnaround BS the government is feeding you, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you.

The early 20 somethings are just too immature. Go late 20s or even early 30s if they're "perky". :thumb:

Too close in age to my 13 year old. I wouldn't want them talking.

The middle class is slowly disappearing, the poor are poorer than ever, yet the elite who would buy a car like this get richer and richer... So there's your answer.

My friend Chizzang, who has obviously parlayed his $6.93 investment in AGS into many millions of dollars, is entitled to buy an Aston-Martin if he wants. :nod:
