So Dawg, please give us your honest assessment of the Obama Presidency to date. How good of a job has he done? What has he done that in 20 years will be considered successes? What has he done that will be considered failures? How will his presidency go down in the history books?
I think it will be a middle-of-the-pack Presidency, not the success Clinton was, not the miserable failure Dubya was. The Dark Side left powers for him that he should have refused to use but didn't. He failed in that we still have the Patriot Act and still torture people at Gitmo and in general he has done little to restore the prestige and moral authority we used to have before his dipshit predecessor took office, other than not be that embarrassing buffoon, and in fact has made it worse in some ways with **** like drones assassinating civilians. I think that those who call him a sell-out and a center-right corporatist are correct.
Thanks for the response Dawg but I'm still wondering why you have your head so far up Obama's a$$ that you could use his tonsils for a pacifier. Every time someone has a post that is critical of Obama you respond with either a diversion or a blame Bush post. You're like Pavlov's Dawg with a special hard-on for TMan. Holder, IRS, etc. add up to a lot of screwups and failures. Rather than trying to deflect, why don't you man up and admit that Obama really screwed the pooch on a few things? You won't be seen as a shill and your credibility will increase?
I personally put Dubya and Obama at about the same level based on where we're at now. Obama has done almost nothing to make a dent in the economic doom & gloom other than throw some bones to his union supporters. He is a sell-out and Wall St. suck up. His signature accomplishment might unravel because his party mates forgot to check the wording. It would be an ironic twist on Pelosi's we have to pass it to find out what's in it comment. It would also be a shame because it actually appears be a good thing.
