Because you had to be a cunt rag. MY team will go 10-2. What do you think your team will do. The only person obsessed here is you.
Hopefully 10-2 or 11-1, realistically 9-3. Feel free to disagree, I promise it won't hurt my feelings. :thumb:

You will lose to Wyoming, NDSU, EWU, and at least one other team (hopefully the Cats) I would say 8-4 realistically, Could end up between 9-3 and 7-5 easily.

You know nothing of reality, you are a griz fan. You want reality? Reality is the rest of the FCS has passed buy the Big Sky conference. The griz use to be hot shit, but now are just like the rest of us, an occasional blip on the playoff radar, and another "We made to the semis and you didn't" season. Congrats on your big stadium. The rest of the country has WAY better facilities now than any of us do. Better weight rooms, locker rooms, student services rooms...On and On. But no, you just keep hanging on to that fucked up notion that your stadium and your team is the end all be all of College football....
Fatalism alert!

The Big Sky has some of the best facilities in the country, has had a team in the semi's the last 6 years, and a NC. Now you sound like a Griz fan in a move up thread... :ohno:

You said the scats would go 10-2. That's REGULAR SEASON 10-2. That's the bet, home slice. Even if by some miracle of miracles they do manage to back into the playoffs those wins don't count in this bet.
I am not back back-peddling at all. I was just trying to throw that in there. 10 wins in regular season is the bet. AND FYI we have a WAY better chance of getting there than you do.

You have a very real possibility of starting the season 1-3.

Yeah. At WORST we'll be 2-2. At WORST. And after that, only one-two more potential losses on the horizon.

And besides...I'm not the one on here crowing about 10 wins for the Griz. I think a more realistic record would be 8-4.

Gosh I love it when people make guarantees! I think I remember that same double digit guarantee last season. Your Montana guarantee is at least a little more accurate. There won't be many easy games in the first month or two for the Griz.
The kittens winning 10 games though? In the regular season? MSU will be lucky to escape its conference road schedule with only 2 losses. Add on top of that Central Arkansas, Arkansas State, and Eastern Washington and a 7-5 season might look like a good achievement.

I still don't have high hopes for the Griz defense, so anything past 8-4 is gravy to me.

I do think we shouldn't lose at home, though. It's just that shitty road schedule that's gonna probably bite us. I can see losses to EWU, WYO, NDSU and Cal Poly.

I've got a bet with SACCAT that the 'scats don't go 10-2. I'll offer you the same bet that the Bungles don't go 5-7. Any amount you want.

Idaho State at 5-7 would be a huge improvement and a realistic goal to shoot for.

@ Utah - L
@ Utah State - L
Chadron State - W
Sacramento State - L
@ Eastern Washington - L
Simon Fraser - W
Southern Utah - Push
@ UNC - W
@ Portland State - Push
Cal Poly - L
@ Montana State - L
Weber State - Push

I see anywhere from 3-5 wins with that schedule. Who else is it that you're going to beat to get 6 wins out of?

The Bungles will NOT beat Sac State. You can take that to the bank....

It's in Pocatello, Sac's pass D looks weak, and ISU seems to peak at the start of conference. :coffee:

Six wins? I don't see it either, even the UNC game is hard to put in the win column; 2006 was the last road conference win!!!! Hence, I'll cash that check now for five wins... before reality sets in and the check bounces.

I would love 5 wins. I think that the Sac game is a push.

We return a lot on offense, and thus should outscore them even with a weak defense...kinda like that 2012(?) game at Poky. :coffee:

Sac State is my dark horse playoff contender this season. I think they have a really favorable schedule with a strong chance at 3 non-con wins and most of their toughest conference games at home. Although, that may be bad luck for them as I've had some lackluster dark horses in the past. :ohno:

OK, I feel better now that I am home. The last week was spent at my grandmothers funeral listening to my cousins (both UM grads) talk about how "Oregon would have a tough time playing in Missoula because of the noise, and the rabid fans." Then the day of the funeral, found out my father in law has terminal cancer, and the doctor is married to a griz fan...So HE has to go into his thoughts about how awesome the griz would be and how the Cats have no chance this year...Hey Doc, how bout we focus on the impending death in the room....I will now continue all with my normal self-deprecating humor.
