I didn't necessarily say we will have a breakout year. I'm only saying we have the talent to be .500. That being said, our biggest weakness is coaching and that is the only thing I think that will keep us from being around .500
I think you guys would get better immediately with a coaching change. The current guy's in over his head.

Holy ****, how did I miss this?

Any amount of money...ANY amount you want that you don't win 10 games.
I already have 2-3 bets with you, I can't keep track of that many. And what games do you see us losing? I COULD see us losing to the following (But we won't because of reasons below)..

EWU
ASU
CAL-Poly

We NEVER (in the last two) lose to the griz in missoula. We have one of, if not, the best front 7 in the history of organized sports. Our QB ( I know who it will be) can run the offense like a well oiled, non-stop, SHARKNADO. AND we have the loudest and coldest stadium in the history of people sitting down in seats and watching over people do stuff.

But this is the first time the Griz have both A) A starting experienced QB and B) The same coaching staff. Also, the Cats barely won when the Griz didn't have those.

Not at all. I believe you are one of the people that I have a bet with on the next 4 CAT/griz games. I have no problem putting my money where my mouth is. $100 (to charity of winners choice) says by the end of the year, the Cats will have won 10 games.

One would think that this was the case last season. What's the difference?

Big Sky Predictions/Analysis

Mvemjsunpx wrote:The Griz pass defense may not be great, but no-one else's is either. There isn't a single Big Sky team that appears to be any better than just "solid" on defense, and Montana's D-Line is the only level (DL, LB, DB) of any Big Sky defense that looks notably good.
Not smacking here, but I really must have missed something last season if this is the case. Granted, I am basing my opinion mostly off of the EWU/UM game, but I would not offer the above based on my observations. What I saw was a defense that was playing out of position quite a bit of the time and getting beaten to the ball most of the time on pass defense. What am I missing here?

And no, I'm not necessarily saying ours was any better. I really thought SUU was the only Big Sky defense last season that was any good. Well, kinda with the exception of when we played them.

Oh, it's on like Donkey Kong, bitch. Bring it! I will celebrate the 'scat's 3rd loss of the season even more than I'll celebrate the next 2 or three losses... :coffee:

I am pretty sure 9-3 will get us in the playoffs, with the next win being our 10th....Not that it will come to that. Griz O-line couldn't play for Carrol, so good luck keeping JJ healthy all year. He is ALL YOU GOT....

Whoa, whoa, WHOA....I sense some SERIOUS backpedalling going on here...

You said the scats would go 10-2. That's REGULAR SEASON 10-2. That's the bet, home slice. Even if by some miracle of miracles they do manage to back into the playoffs those wins don't count in this bet.

I am not back back-peddling at all. I was just trying to throw that in there. 10 wins in regular season is the bet. AND FYI we have a WAY better chance of getting there than you do.

You lost a Buchanan winner and your golden boy QB from a team that only had 7 wins last year. What exactly makes you think you have a good shot at getting to 10?

I guess just blind stupidity. How dare I think we will ever be good again...Hell "Golden boy" left and we lost our second Buchanan winner in two years....FYI "Golden boy" played with a torn ACL the last 3 games of the year. Sure the end of the year was very disappointing, but I think this years team is going to be way better. We have better players, and a way better offensive system. We have two players on D that could win us our 3rd Buchanan award in a row. But I guess only griz fans can say they are "scary good". The rest of us better just shut the fuck up...RIGHT?

You know nothing of reality, you are a griz fan. You want reality? Reality is the rest of the FCS has passed buy the Big Sky conference. The griz use to be hot shit, but now are just like the rest of us, an occasional blip on the playoff radar, and another "We made to the semis and you didn't" season. Congrats on your big stadium. The rest of the country has WAY better facilities now than any of us do. Better weight rooms, locker rooms, student services rooms...On and On. But no, you just keep hanging on to that fucked up notion that your stadium and your team is the end all be all of College football....

The only reason anyone other than a griz player wins an award is because they let us...How dare we forget that EVERY LOSS they have is because someone cheated, of the refs blew it, or that players got hurt...But you bring up that same thing and they say "It's part of the game"... Fuck them, I am over it.
