God you're a cad.

You're an anti-environmental conservation conk who's living in a developing hell caused by your ideology. Not attacking you, rather I'm exposing you. That you didn't get it is further evidence of your egomania or at the very best - self delusion.
It's about the economy and growth. Nth degree environmentalism has destroyed our nation's industries, inevitably our economy, and ultimately our social fabric and national security.

That you don't get that is further evidence of your myopia and ignorance.

Now...

Get this loud and clear. I'm retired. I sold or gave away all my business assets. I no longer have any stakes in the game. Whether the economy thrives or not has no effect on my life. I speak in defense of our nation and children...which you clearly do not appreciate or even understand.
I will continue fighting against enemies of our state, like yourself, regardless of what you think or say: If you don't like that, I heartily invite you to go fuck a rock.

Not sure. Read my posts. Spending time this fall back east, Phillipines in the spring, as much time as I can spare up in the hills in between.

Make a stop in paradise. You'll love the St.croix valley.

Got plenty of room, a boat, one of the best trout streams in America and brew pubs and wineries galore.

So....does anybody believe that there would be no droughts in given areas if humankind had never appeared on this planet? Anybody?

No no no. Not your fault but you really don't understand. The last time you ate a grilled hamburger you ate more carcinogens than I would probably get in all the fried crappie I'll eat in my lifetime because the grilling process creates pyrogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). A typical grilled hamburger is certainly more "dangerous," for instance, than any seafood composing the thousands of seafood samples collected to assess the BP oil discharge crisis. Also, when they had the Exxon Valdez thing in Alaska, the seafood the locals were all worried about eating was not nearly as dangerous as the smoked salmon the natives had eaten all their lives. Pyrogenic PAHs again. In fact, it was determined that the smoked salmon they'd eaten all their lives was characterized by cancer risk two orders of magnitude higher than the most heavily oiled seafood sampled in response to the Exxon Valdez spill.

You need to quit listening to the crap environmental groups put out because it really is just that: Crap.

Oh and yes ANOTHER government employee sucking off the taxpayer tit.
You know, there is a lot of legitimate basis for criticism with respect to government employees. But at least they are theoretically being paid for work they are doing. At LEAST theoretically.

In this country, there is a lot more money being spent to subsidize people just for existing than is spent on government employees for at least ostensibly working. You know, stuff like what we used to call the Food Stamp program. Medicaid. That sort of thing.

Government employee compensation and rules that protect government employees from accountability make great headlines. But those things are not part of the root of the fiscal problem. The root of the problem is the "government is going to ensure everybody's well being" mentality.

Well, you're of course free to adopt that posture. But there's really no reason to. Thousands of samples of Gulf seafood were collected during the incident and none came within two orders of magnitude of levels of concern.

And I might add that those who are familiar with such things could have predicted that (as I actually did during some conference calls). That's because before the BP thing ever happened there was comprehensive study of previous large oil spills and it was already clear that oil spills do not create a hazard to the health of seafood consumers. It's just not an issue.

Oil spills create a potential product quality issue. Somebody might get seafood that has an off taste to it. They do not create a health issue in terms of worrying about people who eat seafood from the impacted areas being harmed. They just don't.

But it's hard as hell to get people to understand that; especially when you have Environmental Groups spreading misinformation. And they DO do that. You people who don't realize just how bad Environmental Groups are about spreading misinformation just have no idea. You really don't.
