There is war on. Obama's cronies at CNN are reporting that Russia is, illegally according to Obama, supplying the Ukrainian rebels with arms and intelligence. Duh. And what are we doing in a host of other countries? The exact same thing.

Heck, we kill children and civilians all the time, and prop up governments that make people disappear while oppressing women (oh my...and don't forget the gays, Jon) in many countries, all in the name of national interest.

You can say we don't mean to do bad things, but that is entirely untrue. We just hire whack jobs to do really bad things for us so that we don't have blood directly on our hands.

So why are we shocked when other countries/groups of fighters decide to kill and terrorize people? The ultimate goal is to win. Sometimes their objectives or methods are different (200-300 people killed in a plane crash versus thousands killed by bombing the "grid," but the end goal is always power.

With all of the shoulder fired missiles we set free in Libya, it is only a matter of time that someone knocks down a commercial airplane full of Americans.

US airlines had already been avoiding airspace over Donetsk since April. European airlines (Lufthansa, Virgin, Air France, etc) in the last hr or 2 have announced their planes will now avoid that airspace.

This was 35 miles from Russian airspace according to news reports. The people first to the wreckage are pro-Russian Ukrainian guys with AK's.



I guess I'll back down from the "Russians did it" to more of the pro-Russian Ukrainians did it, possibly with lots of help from Russians.

But still not sure why you'd shoot down a Holland to Malaysia international flight. Can't see any wins in that for anyone.
