Probably not since I would have to believe a person who called themselves a pagan would be doing so just for effect.

My kids go to Catholic schools so I'd only be OK with the Muslim above. What would an atheist prayer sound like? :suspicious:
Where did it say prayer? Here, I'll help you....

Invocation - : the act of mentioning or referring to someone or something in support of your ideas : the act of invoking something.

What has god or Jesus done for anyone lately? So he helped a few lepers and fed a few folks. Big fucking deal. He hasn't shown his coward face in 2000 years. SMFH.

The average urban ER doctor saves more lives in a week than that fuck saved his whole life. I personally have fed more people in my life.

Might as well invoke the real heroes of humanity - scientists, doctors, secularists, philosophers, founding fathers - all of whom had and have a greater impact. We owe all our freedoms and standard of living to them, not stupid coward Jesus.

No, he never had the guts to challenge his old man who forced his silly superstitions on his kids with the threat of physical punishment - otherwise known as child abuse.

I dont see how it is that prayer should be sanctioned one way or the other

if you want to pray just do it

Last time I prayed I was about to be killed in Iraq so I prayed to jesus, elton john and john f kennedy and albert einstein whoever the fvck I thought would listen

LOOK AT ME IM PRAYING

the people who make a production of blessing their own food before they eat annoy the hell out of me but as long as they arent making me do it with them (by force of gummint fiat) I dont give a sh!t

I think it should be totally up to the local community. I don't think the First Amendment Establishment Clause as it was written and as it was intended has anything to do with what local communities and governments do with respect to stuff like that at all. I think it was strictly a prohibition on the Congress of the United States. And it wasn't a broad prohibition; as evidenced by the fact that the Congress shortly thereafter appropriated funds to hire a Christian chaplain and started holding Christian church services in the House chamber.

If a local school system wants to have prayer by atheists, it should be free to do so. BUT...if a local school system chooses to have Christian prayer, Muslim prayer, or anything else to the exclusion of other points of view it should also be allowed to do so. The Constitution itself does not give the Federal government the power to say otherwise. Federal Judiciary distortion of the Constitution does and as a practical matter we have to live by that. But the Constitution itself does not.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Your statement that a person who claims to be pagan is saying it for effect is laughable
Coming from THE religion that stole all of the Pagan holidays

Again: Naive and Arrogant - it was on display right there (and you missed it)
