Costco Bans "America"
Re: Costco Bans "America"
It's tough. There's a balance between the company doing what it wants and suppressing political communication.

If I owned a record store, I'd refuse to carry Nickleback...even though they'd sell.

One's CHOICE of religion should not give you the right to discriminate against an innate characteristic like race, gender, orientation.
I don't hate Christians - just those that want to impose Christian Law on the rest of us.
IN a time and country where gay marriage is becoming a reality it seems somewhat SPANDO-ISH to think that America is heading back to the MIddle Ages.
I still can't be legally married in Arizona. There are new calls to re-introduce SB 1062 (Giving anyone a right to discriminate against gays in ANYTHING) in Arizona. There is no ENDA - I still can be fired solely for being gay.
All this is based on Christians trying to enforce their version of morality.
Add the rejection of science (Evolution, etc) by a large number of Christians. You are isolated from the crazies - but there are calls everyday for Christian Law in Arizona.
Hell - the ultimate goal of the President of Hobby Lobby is to make Bible Study MANDATORY in all public schools. His version, of course

Reality Check, I do not hate Christians just because they are Christian. The reverse can not be said of many millions of Christians.travelinman67 wrote:Reality check, Dback.dbackjon wrote:

You hate Christians.
Dback, this is a basic "battle of the protected classes".
Christians cannot impose their beliefs on LGBT, but simultaneously LGBT cannot impose their beliefs upon religious groups.
I'm sorry you're unable to understand this paradox.
Christians have been doing a damn fine job of imposing their beliefs on LGBT Americans. To deny that shows you are either in denial, or clueless.
