Super! I have a renter at my apartment who has repeatedly spoken in suppIort of Democrats and Obama (remarked she'd vote for him a third time if he could run again ).
Since you say it's ok, I'm heading over there this morning to serve her with a 30 day eviction notice.
I have rental applicants lined up around the block. With first and last monthly paid, I won't lose one cent.
Thanks Ibanez! I really shouldn't be required to rent to people I don't agree with.
If you want to be a hateful dick, then by all means. However, you just admitted that you are kicking people out of there house due to their speech. That's a first amendment issue and you'd be taken to court and you'd lose. But go ahead, evict them.
I didn't realize being a landlord wasn't a business!
Senegal made the he decision not to support either the product or customers he disagreed with. I have chosen to do the same.
Murder isn't free speech...I'm immensely grateful there are people like the Greens who understand that abortion is murder (and shut your mouth about RU486 being a contraceptive...it is an abortion device), and further, understand the moral duty to oppose and fight against murder of unborn children to their dying breath.
You may not have noticed, but "progressives" are not a protected class, and month to month tenancy renters have no property rights. There are no grounds for the tenant to sue.
I wish you had been there, Ibanez. When I handed her the eviction notice, her shock was beyond anything I had ever witnessed. I explained to her that she had been a good tenant, but that I simply disagreed with her political beliefs, and since this was my business, I could choose to discriminate based upon political bias. After she stopped shrieking and swinging at me, I reassured her it was o.k., that one of her fellow progressives reminded my that as a businessman I had the right to discriminate.
Hope you don't mind, but I gave her your number.
BTW, I'm a little puzzled by your hostile remarks. Are you angry at my decision to discriminate because in progressiveworld, landlords don't have the same rights as other businesses, or simply because conks can be called hateful dicks, whereas, donk businessmen who discriminate are just exercising their rights.
Do tell.
