Do people really, I mean REALLY, base their shopping and retail choices based on whether or not they can bear fire arms there?

There are those who are so afraid of the world they can't go pee without being fully armed. I really feel sorry for them. Paranoia is not a good thing.
Why do "you guys" call people names when you disagree with somebody being prepared and protecting themselves or their family?

I have never been paranoid about anything and that's not why I have a CWP.

From the other thread:
My home in eastern MT has 7 handguns staged at various locations throughout the home. All of them are loaded and extra mags and ammo are near each location. 5 of them are revolvers. The 2 semi autos are near doors so I can shoot stuff outside.

The home in central MT has 3 revolvers and 2 shotguns

The home in Western MT has 5 revolvers 7 semi autos, 3 shotguns and more than 3 semi auto rifles. I have more than 25k rounds of ammo for the rifles, dozens of cases of shotgun shells and nearing 10k in handgun ammo.
Why do you have 7 loaded handguns stashed around your house with extra magazine and extra ammo... and guns near doors to "shoot things outside."

Doesn't even sound like you're paranoid about a home invasion. Sounds like your paranoid about an band of Indian savages coming to loot your homestead. Do you have embrasures cut into your house as well?

It's called being prepared.

Same thing as taking a jacket in case it rains.....or an umbrella like you east coast people do.

Would you go camping without a tent or leave the house without a knife? Paranoia has nothing to do with it, it's just like carrying a wallet with a credit card that has real world points you can use anytime anywhere.

Do you carry around a fire extinguisher in case you encounter a fire?

I use my wallet and credit card every day.

Any fire I cannot run away from is not going to be helped with a fire extinguisher

There is nothing special about doing something that anybody can do. These jackasses that parade around with guns just because they can are the same guys that collected participation medals at sports they sucked at as children.

They watched too much Barney growing up and now they think they are special. They might be special, but not in the way they think.

Well that was quick! NO ONE saw this coming did they?
A man was robbed at gunpoint by three armed robbers in the parking lot of Gainesville, GA Target department store….

It’s unclear if thieves are catching on and targeting businesses that discourage law abiding gun owners to carry firearms, but it would not be surprising given the amount of media coverage these corporate decisions are getting.

It takes up space. I hate carrying keys, a phone and a wallet. I carried one in high school and when my job was grunt work. But I never find myself in a situation where I wish I had a knife. If I do, I go the car, get me knife, and proceed.
