Ah yes, the old "suppression of female sexuality" canard.

That's why there's just as many college males sleeping with cougar professors for grades as there are cute coeds sleeping with male professors for grades. That's why you see just as many wealthy older women marrying good-looking men 20 years their junior as you do the reverse. That's why men can make just as much money selling sex to women as women can selling it to men. That's why bikini hottie pictures are so popular with straight guys while hunky guys in speedo pictures mostly appeal to gay men.

In the heterosexual marketplace men by and large are the buyers and women are usually the sellers.

Suppression is NOT the same as:
Complete lack of recognition and acknowledgement of
Yes he used the phrase "suppress and deny" as an observation - but then went on to basically fill out the denial and lack of acknowledgement

You might want to watch that again :coffee:

You didn't actually watch this did you (based on your odd response)..?

Yes, I will admit I stopped watching when he said it was a stereotype that women don't like sex like men do.

And no one thinks that women don't have a libido, just that's it's just not as strong and more erratic than those of men.

Really..?
Can you illuminate that with some additional data..?

Here's a paper with a good meta-analysis if you really want to take the time.

It basically just affirms what most know from experience.

I was thinking the same thing - my 48 yr old girlfriend is an animal
And - I've met your wife and she was effervescent with a delightful pheromone

I found her intoxicating :geek: If I may be so bold... (you wouldn't hit a guy with glasses)

Okay, you got me there...

But when you are talking about things like birth rates and marriage in younger couples I've still got a point. From an evolutionary standpoint the female libido peaking in the 40s doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?

When she's young and hot - she's going to get the tarnation f_cked out of her
As she grows older and by some standards "less hot" she'll need to take matters into her own control
