Really never thought I'd see this happening in the United States.

Well...as someone who handles personal taxpayer information every day, my ass would be in state and federal prison if I handed over any protected taxpayer information to anyone without their written notarized permission or a court order signed by a judge.

BTW, Elijah Cummings is one ignorant fuck.

I wouldn't say impeach him but what's gone on with him has convinced me that we need to have an Attorney General that's not appointed by the President. To me we need to amend the Constitution to do that.

I realize there would still be problems. The Attorney General would still belong to a political party and be loyal to that party. But we really, really need to separate the Attorney General's position from the Presidency.

Biggest problem is that congress lost the authority to appoint a special prosecutor since 1999. That needs to be fixed as soon as conks regain control of senate.

Holder is the ultimate "fox guarding the henhouse". Holder's already been found in contempt of congress, and he hasn't seen the light...it's not reasonable to expect him to cooperate by appointing a special prosecutor.

I don't think that solves anything really, just as you say, it's still going to be a very politically influenced position. And now you run the chance of having even more partisan bickering when you get an AG from a different party from the President and the AG starts doing things particularly to get in the way of or make difficult things for the President. We already have that kind of tit for tat with Congress versus the President, I don't see why we need to increase it with now people inside his own branch of government.

I think that would create just as many problems as it would resolve.

There is no good solution

I find it somewhat pathetic that the highest ranking law enforcement officer in the land feels he is kept down by racism

or for that matter, the supposed most powerful man on earth, duly elected by his countrymen could have the temerity to allow his mouthpieces to make the same claim

I have no problem with a President picking an AG from his own party. I do have a problem with appointing a race-baiting lickspittle like Holder.

Holder sends "anti white" DOJ Community Relations Service team to Nebraska to investigate parade float critical of Obama.

Some may remember the Community Relations Service team (CRS) as a group of lawyers and advocates from the Justice Dept. whose sole purpose has been to investigate and advise in local cases of alleged African-American discrimination. Their job duties, however, lie outside of the criminal justice system. During the George Zimmerman trial, the CRS led by DOJ activist Tom Battles went to Florida, organized protesters from a group called the Dream Defenders, who publicly state they "target whites" and "white owned businesses" for protest and boycott, then led the protesters on a march to Sanford, FL, surrounding the Police Dept. and demanding the removal of the Chief of Police for not immediately arresting Zimmerman.

Now, they're on their way to Norfolk, NE to target (intimidate) those audacious white Nebraskans for criticizing Obama's integrity with a parade float.

http://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/ ... ry-parade/

First militias, next, parade organizers...

...those whitey domestic terrorists keep popping up everywhere.

While I think the animosity against Holder is his own doing, I have to agree when he says,
… There's a certain racial component to this for some people. I don’t think this is the thing that is a main driver, but for some there's a racial animus.

From what I have personally heard and seen since 2008, for some people, this has a lot do with race. But is that the majority opinion? I don't know and I hope it isn't.

Having said that, let me put it in plain English for T-man since he doesn't understand context: I am not justifying any action taken by Holder. He's a crook.

I don't give a good God damn what color Eric Holder is. I have a bias against STUPIDITY. And he's exhibited enough of that for TEN AG's. He is in WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY over his head and should never have been put in that position in the first place.

Agreed, I don't care about his skin color. You don't care. However, he's playing the race card because there are people that do. I've heard plenty of people (especially at the early Tea Party rallys) through out the nword and make jokes about lynching. There are some depressing people in this world.

He's playing the race card because he CAN. And he's desperate. It's pathetic, really.

I'm sorry, but when an incompetent black man plays the race card it makes him no better than the idiots who assume just BECAUSE he's black he's incompetent. If Holder's race is the issue, then why is Boehner incompetent?
