It has nothing to do with the number of Executive Orders, but the scope of the orders.
The President does not have the power to unilaterally change a law (through an Executive Order) that has already been passed by Congress and signed by the President...even the same President who signed the law in the first place.
For example, say Obama was the President in 2006, Congress passed then Obama signed the DREAM Act into law, and then a Conk president a few years later issued an Executive Order to reverse the act and start deporting illegals. The Donkophiles would be rioting in the streets right about now. The fucking media would be going ape shit and demanding for impeachment. Every newscast would spend half of its time covering the illegal acts of the Conk in charge, and every major newspaper would lead with 6" headlines.
The spoiler is that Obama did the exact same thing but in reverse, and there hasn't even been a whisper said about it in the mainstream press.
