BF, you had BETTER be limiting your BS to football. If you're not, then you're a patent idiot because Sac has MANY BSC titles.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Of course im talking about football, I dont give a shtt about volleyball. If sac state has been an impotent mule in a conf with about 5 thoroughbreds for the past 12 seasons, what in the world would force you to think that they are gonna be GREAT this year?
Look man, i know you love your team but miss me with that emotional guessing which is what your brain uses instead of reason & logic.

Spare me the monologue about reason and logic. That’s where the Montana and Weber State finishing 1 and 2 come into play. As far as I’m concerned the rest of the conference is up for grabs.BlackFalkin wrote:Of course im talking about football, I dont give a shtt about volleyball. Good, because Eastern is crap in every other sport! And it's not just volleyball Sac State is good at, but because this is a football forum we wont get into that.
All I know is, EWU lost 15-13 at home to the Hornets last season.
Hornets will go at least 7-4.

Filling up your stadium
Winning a Big Sky conf title
Not getting embarrased EVERY SINGLE year!
Eastern has a walter payton award, & buchanon award winner, 4 bsc titles, a second round draft pick... cmon man Eastern Washington University has a legitimate shot each year & sac state is a team u schedule for homecoming. face facts and stop living in a fairy tale.

3 of those 4 titles ARE SHARED! Sac Had better attendance than the almighty eags last season by the way, for such a dynamite program like EWU, you'd think you could have better attendance than little ol' Sac State.BlackFalkin wrote:Ok good, now focus on:Herky wrote: All I know is, EWU lost 15-13 at home to the Hornets last season.

I like the loyalty of Sac St. fans and they always have fairly good attendance. I am one of the believers in Sac putting some things together this year and shocking a few teams. Looks to be a bad year for a breakout at Sac this season though due to some real talent around the Sky.Herky wrote:3 of those 4 titles ARE SHARED! Eastern's stadium is 12k max (with added south endzone seats)
So averaging almost 7k in a standard 10k seat stadium aint bad. 70%
but averaging 8k in a 22k stadium is about 36%

Both stadiums have extra seats available so I don't see how the % makes any difference at all. You did say fill your stadium but that doesn't change the fact that they have more people there and neither team is filling their stadium.BlackFalkin wrote:Sac st's stadium is 22k maxHerky wrote: Sac Averaged 8,184 and EWU averaged 6,719 fans per game!

Sac st has a fairly big stadium, and thats great, I wish Eastern had a bigger stadium, but they should fill it but they cant and they havent in a loooooooong time.
Thats just one of the things wrong with the program up there in Sac town.
no titles
no playoff appearances
33% butts in seats
hardly ever get a winning season
5'10 quarterback
visiter locker room is a 15 x 15 and in 2005 we had to get dress outside! true fvckin story!

Re: CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: BIG SKY CONFERENCE
Not much talk about PSU. Maybe with reason, given the number of sophomores and freshmen on the team. Haven't done too well the last two seasons, and that doesn't help. For a change, though, a QB has been designated as starter - no more playing two QBs. With experienced WRs this year, Hubel should do much better. The O line should be better- no more sack records. Kicking's a question - Urego signed on as free agent. Schantz, our intrepid OLB, signed with the Steelers, but the other LBs are sound. We should go 7-4; anything more would be sheer luck. Montana and Weber are up there at the top. And Sac State might surprise people

Re: CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: BIG SKY CONFERENCE
If the standard is 10,000 on a good year and 7,000 on a bad year, why did Eastern average 6,719 last season? A season in which the team was ranked at the beginning of the season! Doesnt seem very "standard" does it?BlackFalkin wrote:Eastern has 10k standard, and on a bad year they average 7k.Ursus A. The locker rooms at Sac State are brand new, completed 2 years ago.
Butts in seats = More than Eastern!
5'10 QB = Beat Eastern last season.
Visitor locker room = Brand new.

Sac State does have some athletes! I'm not thinking that this will be a title year for Sacramento, but I do believe coach Sperbeck is the real deal. He has done a good job of both recruiting above average talent and instilling a wee bit of discipline and focus.SuperHornet wrote:Sac will be at least 14-1, if not 15-0. Weber's coach Mac thinks the Hornets will be pretty good in 2009.

and/or
Finish in 4th or worse in Big Sky Conference standings at the end of the regular 2009 NCAA football season.

Even though i said they probably wouldnt do so hot this year i could see PSU upsetting some people and messing up the BSC standings rather easily.
