No - I didn't post "how convenient when Saddam was captured.
But if Romney was elected we'd have 50K troops in and dying in Syria, etc. right now.

Of course, the left was the only ones smart enough to question the whole Iraqi debacle, and got labeled anti-American for doing so - turns out we were right all along - the invasion of Iraq is going to go down as one of the biggest debacles in US history. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rice are war criminals that need to be locked up.

There is no telling what Romney would've done. You are making an assumption. The invasion of Iraq is a debacle. If Obama wanted out, he would've brought them home before the 2011 date. Obama wanted to extend our presence there. You seem to forget that 40% of the House Democrats and 58% of the Senate Democrats (including Clinton) voted to invade.

So to be fair, add these to your "war criminals" list :coffee:

Lincoln (D-AR)
Feinstein (D-CA)
Dodd (D-CT)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Biden (D-DE)
Carper (D-DE)

Mary Landrieu (D-LA)

Baucus (D-MT)
Nelson (D-NE)
Reid (D-NV)
Torricelli (D-NJ)
Clinton (D-NY)

And not a good tune.

All this speculation about whether we'd be in Syria is basing the assumption on whomever is inserted into Obama place.I don't think even Hillary would completely abandon and turn her back on Mubarak and let shit happen all over the ME. Mubarak was a dictator, but he was ours and stabilized relations with Israel and the rest of the GD'ed surrounding countries. None of this shit would be happening to the extent it is now.

Left or right, who gives a fuck at this point. WE are getting walked all over by everyone, knowing Obama has to escape and ponder what to do(play golf), while seeing which direction the political winds are blowing. We're not bombing anyone until a stern letter is penned and sent to the fuckers who Al Queda couldn't even tolerate.

Reuters, the NY Times and CNN all found the guy and interviewed him with no problem...one of them (maybe CNN) interviewed him in an open air cafe in broad daylight. He has been living out in the open, not hiding in a bunker in the middle of nowhere.

Are you actually ignorant enough to believe that we had no idea where this guy was the entire time? :suspicious:

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm having too much fun laughing at our government officials. The incompetence is utterly amazing.

If I wasn't laughing, I'd be crying. It's pathetic.
You would think, the scenario of "What to do if Al Queda fills the power void" Would have been Agenda Item #1, after we evacuated everyone out. So last week we could have hammered someone into the sand until they turned around. Instead, Friday "No troops going back", Saturday-Sunday "Nothing?", Monday "Only 300 Special Forces to protect an empty Embassy building" to today where its "300 maybe more, I'm still thinking about it. HEY LOOK WHO WE FOUND!"

You can't make this up.

This was all just a ploy to help Hillary in an interview of Fox. :?
Fox News analyst Pete Hegseth suggested on Tuesday that the arrest of a suspect in connection with 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi may have been a conspiracy to help former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton just hours before she was scheduled to talk to the conservative network.
