Best Sports Weeks (non football)?
Is this the best stretch of two or so weeks in sports without football? From last Saturday through this coming Monday:
- Horse going for Triple Crown at Belmont
- Stanley Cup featuring NY and LA
- NBA Finals featuring Lebron and a team that can/should beat Miami
- US Open at Pinehurst
- USA in the World Cup
- French Open
- MLB in full swing
- Two NASCAR races

Yeah that's a pretty good lineup. Especially the importance of some of those events as it relates to it's sport.
I prefer a weekend in October when you have in-conference college football games, NFL games, MLB playoffs, golf, and Nascar. NBA and NHL also underway but too early to care.

The Stanley Cup and the French Open have my attention. The MLB is great, but I haven't followed it much this year. I will pay attention to the World Cup, i'm trying to enjoy soccer.89Hen wrote:Is this the best stretch of two or so weeks in sports without football? From last Saturday through this coming Monday:

Yeah, It had my attention. I didn't dream about going to a bar and watching it last week. He said two week stretch and since he said French Open, he's obviously including last week. Forgive my failure in not using past tense verb.Grizalltheway wrote:Really? It's been over for almost a week.Ibanez wrote:
