CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: BIG SKY CONFERENCE
Alright everyone. As Spring Football ends and summer begins i have decided that to help with boredom on this website to put together a forum going over every single conference and what everyone thinks the standings of that conference will be. I will be doing one about every week. first off of course is the BIG SKY:
I see this for the 2009 standings:
1- Montana (Cant decide, both will be very good)
1- Weber State (Cant decide, both will be very good)
3- Montana State (Great Defense a decent O will see the Bobcats here this year)
4- Eastern Washington (Hopefully the ban will be lifted for the Eagles)
5-**EDIT** NAU (Lets see if those great recruits they have been getting pull through)
6-Portland State (Man in blacks team begins to gel together, not enough for winning season just yet)
7-Northern Colorado (Year they will get more then 1 win in Big Sky Conference Play)
8- Sacramento State (Had a good year last year, lets see if it stays consistent)
9- Idaho State (its Idaho state...i dont need to say anymore)

I think he thought that since NAU and SUU play every year, he might think NAU is in the GW.
D-Back are you coming up to Ogden on Oct 14th to watch the Jacks and Cats duke it out?

Montana is out of it, we are moving up, didn't you hear?

we won't be moving the WAC, as our "move-uppers" have shown that to be a lateral move. i believe they, the move-uppers, are thinking more on the lines of the PAC-10 by now.dbackjon wrote:And only losing to Boise in the WACpolsongrizz wrote:Montana is out of it, we are moving up, didn't you hear?

Did Eastern have anyone transfer? Nichols? Boyce? Peach graduated.. I don't see EWU being as good of a team next year, IMO.

Re: CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: BIG SKY CONFERENCE
They won't be as good as in '07, probably, but they should be better than last year's disappointing 6-5. I don't believe anyone actually transferred, though some were looking into it before the appeal was announced.MrTitleist wrote:Did Eastern have anyone transfer? Nichols? Boyce? Peach graduated.. Here is my prediction:
1) Montana
2) Weber State
3) Montana State
4) Sacramento State
5) Northern Arizona
6) Eastern Washington
7) Portland State
8) Northern Colorado
9) Idaho State
I didn't feel like figuring out where there will be ties in the conference record, but there will be one somewhere between the 4-6 range.

Re: CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: BIG SKY CONFERENCE
I think that's a pretty good prediction. I think MSU is going to be dangerous, and I'm pretty nervous for the Griz having to go to Bozo this year.SDHornet wrote:Here is my prediction:

Re: CONFERENCE OUTLOOK: BIG SKY CONFERENCE
Who really will get 3rd?
PSU? EWU? MSU?
I don't think NAU will pull it off.
As for UNC getting more than one win who will they be beating?
I think they only have 2 big sky wins so far: MSU and ISU

Sac will be at least 14-1, if not 15-0. The only game I see on the schedule that will give us any trouble is Montana.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

So humble to think you might lose the NC game.

To SH's credit, though, he did predict a Montana championship last year and was almost right. Sac winning it all is a biiiit of a stretch, though, especially with Hilliard out for the season.

Well seeing as EWU had all those players last year…and well EWU LOST at HOME to Sac State (15-13) with those players, I would have to say based on that, I will stick with my prediction.BlackFalkin wrote:

Let me guess, you are going to fire back with “It was a close loss” BS excuse? So maybe this year’s game will be “Too close to decide”?

Thats alot of trash talk from a team with *NO* Big Sky Conf titles!
Sit your ass down and get ya game up first, before you step to me with that guess work.
Whens the last time Sac State finished 3rd in Big Sky play? Easterns 2008 year was bad and they landed in 3rd place. Sac state's average season gets them in 8th or last fvckin place!
Whos is this fvckin guy?
