I'm wondering if you considered the tactical air assets and airborne brigade that we have stationed in Italy. I guarantee you that we had at least one cruise missile-equipped destroyer in the Mediterranean that night -- and probably had much more. Of course we had special op asset inside Libya that were told to stand down and not allowed to go to Benghazi.
