You know I have wondered about that repeatedly. I see him up there obviously covering for total bullshit and wonder how he reconciles that with his conscience.

He's Christian. All he has to do is say a few Hail Marys and he's forgiven. Voila!

It's an easy religion for people who live a lie.

I don't know exactly. But I'd say it really has come to my mind a lot during the past six months or so because it's really gotten bad. Like the thing recently where it becomes really obvious that the White House did indeed monkey with the message on the Benghazi thing and he had to get up there and try to weasel around it.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

It would seem to me that if you believe what Obama says about his administration as being transparent, then you believe it has been, and if you observe what Obama has done through his administration then you believe it has not. :coffee:

It's funny that BHO has been doing his best for 5 yrs to present himself as the anti-Bush and distancing himself from his policies publicly while privately expanding on them.

"Did Jay Carney decide to quit his job because he knew about news of the Bergdahl deal coming, and remembered what he had said less than a year ago?"

Jay Carney in 2013: No detainee transfer for Bergdahl 'without consulting Congress'
American Thinker ^ | 06/03/2014 | Thomas Lifson

“With regard to the transfer of Taliban detainees from Guantanamo Bay, we have made — the United States has not made the decision to do that, though we do expect the Taliban to raise this issue in our discussion, if and when those discussions happen,” Carney said. “As we have long said, however, we would not make any decisions about transfer of any detainees without consulting with Congress and without doing so in accordance with U.S. law.”

Carney made the remarks at the press briefing on June 21, 2013. Less than a year later, Congress was not informed as the Obama administration agreed to release five Taliban leaders in exchange for Bergdahl.

First off, Carney likely hasn't been able to look himself in the mirror for a few years now over some of the works of fiction he's had to spin.
Secondly, if this Bergdahl situation turns into a desertion of his post as some of his fellow soldiers have asserted and we've given Al-Quaeda their starting 5 back this will make Fast and Furious and Benghazi look small in comparison. Either way it's a disturbing precedent to begin negotiating with these asshats.

Whoa there Crazy Train
Chomsky is an Anarchist not a Liberal... :ohno:
Every Sophomore knows that - that's Political Science 201 right there T-fart

Nobody has criticized the American Media System / Democratic Congress and Social Programming more than Chomsky, he is hated by Political Liberals - Chomsky is one of THE BEST and entertaining critics of Liberal Think you can find (very entertaining)

and (as it just so happens) he is also HATED by Political Conservatives because he destroys their IDEOLOGY and their hypocrisy in a few short steps by discussing the Military Industrial Complex

Chomsky = Anarchist

Only FOX News and the slow witted throw Chomsky into the "Liberal" catch all basket

Isn't an anarchist sort of a super duper liberal?

Mind you I am not talking about a progressive

Or maybe an anarchist is a super duper libertarian- that sounds more right

Elements of Libertarian for sure and Classical Enlightenment
He's all about individual (personal) Liberty vs. The ever growing Political Machine and the ever growing Corporate machine and the now entangled indecipherable mixture of both in the USA

He also HATES Military as a Governing Body (Like a Branch) of Politics (more on that later)

He spoke out against Obama before he was elected and predicted most of what we're seeing today
