Former Montana Star Kevin Criswell Indicted

…on drug conspiracy charges relating to illegally obtained hydrocodone/oxycodone and his physical therapy career. He could face up to 4 years in prison & a quarter-million dollar fine.

Criswell finished his career as Montana's 4th. leading scorer all-time with 1663 points (he's now 5th. after Kareem Jamar passed him this season). He was a senior on the 2005-06 Griz team that upset Nevada in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

He apparently pled guilty and admitted stealing pain medication from his patients. Sounds like he won't actually have to serve a prison sentence (probably a "suspended" thing), but it is possible.

Adding to this… Apparently Criswell admitted to burglarizing patients' homes to steal pain medication (similar to what Ryan Leaf did, though Leaf was caught in the act), but he was never charged with any counts of burglary for some reason.
