Why is a guy from Texas a redneck, but one from Tennessee isn't?

Do I really need to explain? Do you think Al Gore is in any way, shape, or form a redneck?

Take a gander which candidate created a redneck persona:

or

Do you really believe there were "rednecks" in a Presidential race, or are you just trying to distance yourself from your previous silly statement?

How about another silly statement: "Blacks can't be racist because they aren't in a position of power."

Having a preference towards one group is nothing more than having a disguised disdain for another group. When push comes to shove with preferences, a prejudice will emerge.

What if I have more personalities than that?

JohnStOnge wrote:This thing about opposition to Obama being because of his race is really bad.

If Ben Carson somehow got the Republican nomination for President and ran against Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden, who do you think most Republicans would vote for?

How about Allen West vs. either of those two? On and on.

It's not race. It's the fact that Obama is probably the most "left wing" President we've ever had.
What?

Well, there's a HUGE difference between BEING a redneck and CREATING a redneck persona.

Not really. You live in Texas now, don't you? Surely you can identify with the plethora of rednecks CREATING their redneck persona.

And, it's nothing new. :coffee:
