I agree....This is part of the message "O" is telling NATO when he tells them that they need to increase their own expenditures on their military because we are not going to keep carrying them on ours!

How much of the US foreign "interventions" are for OUR interests vs. NATO's? This global economy thing means that what happens abroad directly, or indirectly, involves our way of life, and probably does so more than countries that have 30 hour work weeks, take siestas, ride bikes to work, and shit. To simply say that we should reduce our role may not be the right answer. I don't know what the answer is, I'm just saying that almost all of the people surveyed (both the 47% and the 53%, and especially the 6.93%) don't know either.
I hate these polls. They are meaningless without all the information, and we don't have all the necessary information to base our opinions.
