Rest of the league has 4 FBS wins and two playoff trips the last two seasons. Inconsistent at times and no deep playoff runs just like the rest of every other conference.

Yep, my original post was actually selling the Big Sky short. The Big Sky has had a team in the semi's in each of the past 6 years, with a finalist three out of the past 6. So irrelevant.

Of course, I guess the argument could be made that only 2 teams have all those appearances. Someone else needs to step up some...but it'll probably be Montana and EWU for the foreseeable future.

I remember watching film before a game against the griz. I think they were paying weber. The offense guard had a d tackle engaged in a pass block and he had him stood straight up. The offensive tackle wasn't blocking anyone and decided to dive as hard as he could at the defenders locked knee. Dirtiest play I've ever seen. Ended the kids season. And since it was at wagriz, so the ref took as long as he could to subtly drop the flag without getting noticed. Dirty dirty dirty.

If you are talking about who I think you are, the player got a apology call from the player and Bobby Hauck. The Weber player was engaged with someone else and was then cut by a different Griz player-the one you are talking about.

Not saying the apology healed all transgressions, just that it was not intentional like you say.

I think of lot of that has to do with some of your fan base. Same goes for NDSU. I don't care about EWU, but there are some fan bases that do the team harm. There were some SoCon teams like that. I think the OVC and the Big South are hated.

Heres the deal I think. Many people down here see the Big Sky and MVC like this: Its got a lot of large, public schools, some the "flagship" university of that state. Like Montana. Or North Dakota State. There is no FBS team there. Down here, there are several FBS teams in a state, and FCS is mostly the smaller, less well funded teams. For example, Coastal is a branch school of USC. USC and Clemson are the large, primary flagship schools. Montana, Montana State, Idaho State, North Dakota State, North Dakota, etc. To their states, they are the Clemson, USC, UGA, Florida. Primary state flagship type schools. But...playing in FCS for some reason. But, Boise St, Idaho, Wyoming....they manned up and moved up.

So, in places like Montana and North Dakota, their large, primary flagship schools aren't quite good enough to play FBS- maybe relatively lower level of in-state high school talent- but, being the primary schools in that state, they are very good in FBS.

Coastal is it's on entity. We WERE a satellite school for USC and College of Charleston until 1993. We began as our own school in 1954.

It was pretty bad. Cody Balogh was vilified in Utah after that.

In true Weber spirit, they ruined the season and career of one of our most promising D-Linemen the next year in Ogden doing the same thing.
