Congrats. No doubt SoCon basketball looks better with VMI, ETSU and Mercer coming in (even with Davidson leaving).

Again Congrats.

Interesting that your school isn't announcing their opponent yet. UOP announced their opponent in the same press release that announced their participation.

They may not know yet...

This is a fucked up tournament with no seeds, reshuffled every round, no bracket, often don't know who your playing until it's time to get in the plane/open the doors for the home game...

From what I saw with UOP back in 2010, clenz, you're exactly right. The idea is to keep the old NIT concept alive, but I'm not thrilled with that idea. I prefer a clean-cut bracket, myself....

keydets advance to the CIT semi finals after a monstrous comeback last nite at Ohio U., winning 92-90. Keydets fell behind by 32-15, cut defecit to seven at the half, and took a 12 point lead w/3:25 remaining. Ohio made two 3's in the final 20 seconds to make the final score what it was.

prior to the game, Ohio's RPI was 83; VMI's: 169.

Some rumor going around that the VMI/Yale game has already sold out.

Should be a great atmosphere next Tuesday.
