Wyoming plays Texas at home right before they play Weber then they play at Colorado, dont be surprised if Wyoming might take it a little easy with the game vs Weber, but if they do, I'll tell you right now, they will pay for it. If Wyoming wins it will be alot closer than that. More like maybe a 28 to 24 win or maybe a 35 to 27 win, but it wont be 42-17, Wyoming is no BYU, UTAH, Boise State or TCU.

App State was the defending NC, and ranked #1 in FCS when they beat Michigan.

My guess is 7-4 or 8-3. That first week bye is absolutely going to kill us and Delaware I think will be the decider between no playoffs and a first-round appearance in Boone.

I KNOW, i was sitting on my couch just screaming at them I mean Trevyn did all that work getting them down into the redzone and then we go away from him, it was hard to watch.SUUTbird wrote:Hopefully this year your O-Coordinator or Mcbride whoever it was that was calling the plays in the montana playoff game realizes that this year and actually runs the ball inside the ten and not three passes in a row, i couldnt believe what i was seeing. Horrible coaching on Webers part there.Wildcat Ryan wrote:
No they are not, but they have just as much or more talent, Mcbride is a very good recriuting coach, and now Weber is playing with his players. There was a reason the University of Utah was so successful when Mcbride was the head coach. Weber is getting alot of good players that normaly wouldnt come to play there, Mcbride is the reason for that. Do you think a quality QB like Higgins would have come to Weber if it werent for Mcbride? Nobody else in the state of Utah wanted Trevyn Smith, Mcbride picked him up, and look at what happened, Trevyn Smith has led the Big Sky in Rushing 3 years in a row, and is now, Weber State's all time leading rusher, and thats saying alot after what Nick Chournos did at Weber.

atleast you weren't one first down from the title game then run three horrid run plays and lose by one

I was thinking the same... The Nova and Richmond games are both going to be tough even though they are both home games... the pessimist in me agrees with you that we will lose both of those games but the optimist in me thinks we will go 1-1 over those two games. Do we have anyone who can bank a pass of another players helmet to complete a 40 yard pass on the final play of the game?

Well the Richmond game is an easy call, we're the home team this time plus family weekend. I'd love to say we'll beat Villanova again, but two last-minute defeats have got to be hanging heavy on, in my opinion, the conference and possibly national champs. I'm just hoping for damage control there.JMU DJ wrote:I was thinking the same... Another 40 yarder in blowing wind, Thorpe? Everything I've seen and read suggests that he can air that ball out and put it on a dime. Never thought I'd see that from Rodney, though, and Dudzik and Thorpe are actually supposed to be able to pass. We'll see, I guess.

Maryland traditionally plays down to it's competition(see the 14-7 Delaware game and the loss to MTSU) You guys may have an upset in the making. If you can stop the run, the Twerps have no passing attack. And they'll be beat up from the cross country Cal game.DukeJack wrote:JMU

I have a little wager over on *** about your season. Let's hope my boldness doesn't lose me the lingo. Especially because I don't even remember what I took. Under 6-5? Under 5-6? What the fuck, I'm fucked

If you're thinking what I am thinking, then this was my reason for thinking we will lose this game... If you follow the trend since we last beat them at home in 2003, every other season we have either won at Richmond or lost to them at Home.
There's to many iffy games this year due to the great schedule we were given for me to make a good prediction. My optimistic prediction follows yours, maybe winning one of the Richmond/Nova games. A close one with Delaware that could also go either way and then I have Maryland penciled in as a loss... but as Andy mentioned, could turn out in our favor as they are coming off a tough opening week game and may be looking past us. Could turn out 7-4 to 9-2 in my mind... but could also end up like WR's prediction at 6-5 by missing out on a mid season by week. But hey, like Bill Cosby said yesterday... all you're asking your team is to win one game a week, that's not much to ask

Re: Predict your Season
Of course. The away team always wins us/Richmond. I still think we lose to Maryland, since it will be the first game with a new starter and given how Mickey feels about these games. And yes, this time a loss like DJ last year could absolutely crush us. Cautiously optimistic, but blowing through 11+ weeks without break doesn't bode well for the postseason.JMU DJ wrote:If you're thinking what I am thinking, then this was my reason for thinking we will lose this game... This is pretty much nonsense, but what I think you're aiming at is a friendly little wager. Over/under 6-5 for JMU? And for what would you be wagering?wideright82 wrote:I have a little wager over on *** about your season. Let's hope my boldness doesn't lose me the lingo. Watch out, he'll probably wager a meal... but then he'll meet up with you, say he's not hungry because he ate a hot dog earlier and order soup. Then he will complain when you won't take him out for a meal because soup doesn't constitute as a real meal. By the way, if he ask you to take him to Mendy's it's the worst... The Worst!

I don't remember my wager. It was with BDK (get that asshat over here so I can remember what we bet). I think i took the under on a 6-5 record, maybe. Whatever it is, I'm winning.

Re: Predict your Season
Ha, fair enough. I assume this was on AGS, but seriously, good luck this year. I was at both the games last year and we easily could have lost both of them. I'm really scared that you guys seem to have everyone back and pissed off. It'd be a helluva matchup you and Appy for the title.wideright82 wrote:![]()

We're definitely not as strong as we were last year defensively. However, the rest of the CAA lost more on offense than we did on defense. So, I'm hoping we can out point people in 09. I'm not saying we're bad on D, just not as strong as I would like us to be. With the right personnel, and the right guy calling your offense, you can probably find a weakness or two. But, I gotta tell you, if you line up a first year QB behind your O-line, or a QB new to your system, we're going to "UNLEASH THE HOUNDS!!!!!!" Bow Wow Wow Yippee Yo Yippee Yay.......dbackjon wrote:Welcome - predicting undefeated season with first post - ballsy!!jstclmet wrote:Thu 9/3 @ Temple W 28 - 17
