First off, I want to apologize for my last comment. I was drunk and very angry.
I'm going to take this one at a time, starting with this dumb argument about Nova being overrated.
So. About that Villanova team being overrated.
Alright tough guy, give me your 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s for the tournament. I would love to see your arguments for placing 3, 4, or higher seeds ahead of Nova (who btw was the strongest 2 seed that got consideration for a 1 seed). I'll just laugh my way out the door, because based on their resume, they deserved that 2 seed, whether you like it or not.
What killed Nova in the Uconn game was not scoring for 10 minutes before the first half ended. And it's not like Uconn was some defensive juggernaut, Nova just missed open shots. At that point, I knew they were in trouble since likely no team in the tournament could withstand that and win the game, or even be in it quite frankly. Shit like that happens to most teams (not playing well for a period of time). It happened in the tournament, so it gets magnified. Uconn will most likely lose to Iowa State, but they were simply the better team on Saturday and I give them props (even though I hate them).
Moving on, Nova will lose two important seniors in James Bell and Tony Chenault. They will be replaced by 2 incoming top 100 freshmen. Nova should win the BE conference again next year and hopefully have a better showing in the tournament.
