I have to believe other schools have done the same thing, this late in the game, to other schools but not 3 months after the first school officially announces the game and puts out a rather big promo on as part of their season ticket package promo....

And to do it in March is REALLY late in the game.

So in a year UNI could play 13 games, because of the HI game, UNI could be stuck with 11 and lose a home game leaving with 5 home games...after season ticket holders paid for 6 games.

UNI's *Best hope* right now is somehow convincing Drake to drop their D2 game with Truman State that day and give them 1 or 2 return games as a UNI/Drake game in Des Moines is basically a UNI home game.

A D2 is worthless other than keeping it to say we have 6 home games. It won't draw walk up for shit as Iowa State hosts Kansas State and Iowa hosts Ball State with a lot of preseason hype around that team. The D2 team from about an hour north of Cedar Falls, Upper Iowa University, hasn't announced a schedule yet so maybe if we have to go a D2 route go that way. They are a rising D2 program and to pay for an hour same day bus ride would be pretty damn cheap. I mean, we got Central State when SSU did this to us for 50K...and they took a bus 12 hours from Ohio. The other D2 possibility is NW Missouri State, one of the best D2 programs. They haven't announced a schedule and they really believe they can be a top flight FCS program right now. That would be interesting to see how they compare

DSU (the school) is run by a bunch of clowns. That makes them no different than the rest of the MEAC.

**** YOU for allowing FSU to pay the buyout of the UNI game this coming fall! Now UNI is left without a game just months before the season!



At least when UNI does it they do it more than a year before the game to allow time for changes...this is just 7 months from the game!
