And he says Liberal are idiots...
The University of California School system is widely regarded as WORLD CLASS
and certainly considered the best State run system in the country

I think it's 10 Universities (maybe 11 now)
not including its Laboratories and Medical Clinics which are among some of the best in the world

Frankly just a DUMB comment
from somebody who's blatant hatred of all things California and Liberal
clearly obscuring the FACTS

Johnny your credibility is slipping
The U.C. systems is some of the best of what America has to offer
and isn't McNeese State a Junior College..? (seriously)
would it even be accepted academically into the California System? (somehow I doubt it)

This is bullshit. When something negative happens, people always want to place blame on themselves. It is time to stick up for ourselves and blame the chickens. If it wasn't for the chickens, there would be no wings. That's a fact.

Actually its the skin and buttered hot sauce that is the culpit, and well yes the bleu cheese dip. I can't blame the chicken.

Wrong, exercise has little to no effect, it can add into the equation and aid in fat burning, but its more simple than your post.

Taking in more calories than you burn off.

If you reverse that you could sit still all day and lose weight.

Tongue in cheek, fellas.

However, what the article specifically talks about is DDT and TBT. They come up with this grandstanding term "obesogen." They feed mice and rats DDT and TBT and note effects.

But let me go ahead and say that I'm going to assume that they fed them more DDT and TBT than any human being is going to exposed to (proportionately, relative to weight).

I don't know that. But you'll have to excuse me for assuming it because that kind of thing is done so often. So now they're in position to say "You simply MUST keep giving us GRANTS to study this CRITICAL problem."

Your body was designed to luck into the monthly mastodon but more frequent rabbit while the woman folk daily gathered grubs, berries, roots, and nuts, and occasionally had to out-run a saber toothed tiger or two. In other words..they have no excuses...

If what you say is true, where does GMO foods fit into our diet? What does inserting/changing genetic sequences do, if our bodies are so slow to adapt to change?

FWIW I steer clear of GMO as much as I can, but know it is hidden everywhere in our processed foods.

Nothing. What you have to "worry" about is the fact that we are refining foods. Refined sugars. Trans fats. Etc.

The fact that, say, somebody genetically engineered a grain to be resistant to pests is nothing to worry about. That's not going to do anything to you.

Me, I don't worry about it regardless. I am going to die. I don't like it. But I am going to die. And the net result of all the stuff we've done is that I'm going to die a lot later than I probably would have if I'd have been born 100 years ago, 200 years ago, and CERTAINLY if I'd have been born before civilization got started. Back when the females were gathering grubs and berries it would've been remarkable if I reached 35 years old.

So I'm not going to get in a wad over trans fats in my donut.

God damn. I'm agreeing with JSO with regularity lately.

I find nothing more tragic than when one of these 30 or 40 something know-it-alls who criticize every food choice everyone else makes keels over of a heart attack during a marathon. I wish I were there so I could spoon feed them just a small bite of Ben and Jerrys so they would have a small taste of yummy food before they pass.

That's not a good sign. I would advise that you stay away from middle schools and animals shelters until further notice.

We don't have to worry about our normal flora incorporating the sequences into their DNA and then making new proteins we are not used too?
