Wolves reintroduced. Chased deer up into mountains and out of the valleys...killed off coyotes.... Valleys revegetated, trees grew, beaver, otter, etc., showed up, more rabbits, more eagles, fuck they (wolves) were even able to affect the flow of rivers. Explain to me what I missed?

The ranchers are compensated of course - but they are still an angry lot - that would have you believe that it happens every day

There were 1.09 million cattle located in Washington State on some 11,000 ranches and farms

Most of those 17 were probably killed by local dogs packing up and hunting.

Wolves aren't even in the top two dozen causes of cattle deaths.
