Police Dept disbanded for pledging to uphold constitution

Post by travelinman67 »

http://www.usaprepares.com/government-c ... ully-fired
Police Chief Shane Harger of the Jemez Springs, NM Police Department was placed on administrative leave and ordered to disband his police department today.

Harger returned from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association Convention on Monday, January 27, 2014 with a sense of knowing that, he as well as 38 other peace officers, shared the commitment to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from enemies both foreign and domestic. He and the other 38 men and women signed the Resolution of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (see below).

The following morning, Harger was informed by Sheriff Douglas C. Wood of Sandoval County, New Mexico, that Harger was to dismantle the Jamez Springs Police Department...
Holder, Johnson, Pistole, Comey, and Alexander should be subject to an I.C. investigation, immediately. All five have committed EGREGIOUS constitutional violations within the past 4 years. It has been an abomination that these directors have been allowed by Congress to commit acts against Americans, in flagrant violation of constitutionally protected rights, with virtually no oversight or demand for accountability.
Worse, all five have acted in concert to oppress lawful criticism and harass and unlawfully punish critics and reporters who challenge their unlawful actions.

Yet, assuming he has not directed these criminal acts, POTUS Obama looks on with the most cavalier indifference, refusing to intervene or, at the least, cooperate with Congress to investigate potential criminal conduct.

I have spoken to several groups recently and reiterated the following sentiment:
Having been born during the Cold War, I never once considered the possibility that a global paradigm shift would occur during my lifetime, ending the Cold War and the imminent threat of Nuclear War: When the Iron Curtain was eliminated 25 years ago, the Global shift was relatively incomprehensible. Obviously welcomed, the Glasnost revealed peaceful, global opportunities for every nation.
During my life, however, I NEVER believed the United States would allow a political shift to occur which would minimally endur, if not facilitate, a federally initiated erasure of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights: The electorate would never allow such treason. Yet, today, our executive branch acts outside it's lawfully enchaptered boundaries to muddle, if not erase, First Amendment protections of free political speech, protections preventing interference with religious expression; Second Amendment protections against government disarming it's citizens; Fourth Amendment protections against unconstitutional search and seizure ( a violation of, amply demonstrated by the so-called "metadata" warrantless searches by NSA), which have UNEQUIVOCALLY rendered the Fourth Amendment invalid; and further acted outside its lawful scope, to disregard Ninth and Tenth Amendment protections.

The shocking indifference by the electorate cannot be fully rationalized by the conscience, intense conspiracy by political ideologues who work in concert with "shill" MSM employees to DISTRACT Americans attention away from the monumental unconstitutional, subversive acts, by use of "social" hot topics like (eternal) wealth imbalance, faux racism, (again, eternal) gender inequality, abortion, and the newest, "environmental stewardship" (don't get me started...) to confuse and obfuscate political focus.
The U.S. electorate has become exceptionally apathetic. After decades of lawless disregard by extreme demagoguery, voters have "surrendered" to the inevitable reality that the U.S. Government has become the domain of the incompetent, narcissists, whose focus is and will always be their self-preservation of power and wealth.

Klam...Jellydonut...

...go ahead and rationalize your savior's misconduct.

I'm a bit ignorant on this topic....how does a sherriff have the authority to tell a police chief to disband his department? Wouldn't that be the city's call?

1). Began mistrusting Obama a week into his first term when he appointed Geithner. I voted for a true conservative, Gary Johnson, last time. Obama is a turd of a president and Holder is a clown. :coffee:

2). My BIL is under-sheriff of a highly conservative rural county in E. WA and is a staunch Republican. But his stories of the local Constitution Party members in his county lead me to believe that any association with the word "Constitution" in it's name might be a little sketchy as the ones he deals with are borderline domestic terrorist suspects. Turns out, I was right!

3. You should be smart enough to realize that both sides of a story should be considered, yet you post only one. :coffee:

4). I'm guessing this will turn out to be as relevant as your thread about Obama taking away my recreational fishing rights. Now....... it's time to tie up some flies. A few of the lowland lakes here in socialist Washington open in March.

Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association

The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA, for short) is a US Peace Officer group that believes that sheriffs are "the highest executive authority in a county and therefore constitutionally empowered to be able to keep federal agents out of the county".[1] It promotes this viewpoint as a method of saving the country from tuh overbearin fedrul gubmint. Their membership consists of a staggering fourteen sheriffs, :? one county commissioner, and one chief of police, drawn from thirteen states (mostly southern and western). The organization draws much of its philosophy from the similar sovereign citizen and Posse Comitatus movements.

Richard Mack, who along with Joe Arpaio founded the Constitutional Sheriffs Association, is one of the founders of the Oath Keepers, a neo-militia group focusing on police and military personnel. It is Mack's view that "[t]he greatest threat we face today is not terrorists; it is our federal government… One of the best and easiest solutions is to depend on local officials, especially the sheriff, to stand against federal intervention and federal criminality."

They have as legal advisor one Judge Navin-Chandra Naidu, who has worked with many organizations from the Sultanate of Sulu to a Chinese county, and is a member of the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists. Sounds like an interesting guy. His website, "Ecclesiastical Court of Justice and Law Offices,"[3], has the usual stuff about the country being essentially Christian in nature, and offers advice on how churches can avoid paying tax. In 2001, he was a wanted man, accused in Fiji of forging his law degree,[4] and his dealings with the Pembina Nation in North Dakota have managed to irk the Anti-Defamation League.

The Convention!

In January of 2012, they invited all sheriffs and deputies in the U.S. to come to their conference in Las Vegas. Several hundred did show, including 8 from Colorado; to a man, they returned making heroic attempts to be respectful while not laughing their collective asses off.[5] The general opinion of the "liberal"[6] sheriff of Weld County was something along the lines of "We thought they had some interesting points, but overall we were unable to accept that this is the role of local law enforcement."[7]
There was speculation at the convention that this was designed to help support Arizona in the coming months, when the courts rule on the illegality of Arizona's anti-immigration policies.[8]
The 2013 convention is to be held at St. Charles, Missouri, May 31 - June 1. Among the speakers scheduled is birther Michael Zullo who will present a program on "Presidential document fraud." [9]

In most states, the Sheriff supercedes any local sworn agencies whose existence are subject to the Sheriff's authority.

It's expected that libtards would attack anyone with the chutzpah to defend the constitutional protections their socialist Messiah is attempting to eliminate.

Ironic that those protections include freedom of political speech...

Not that way in Iowa so I guess that's why it didn't make sense to me. :coffee:

I get that the Sheriff's "authority" might supercede the city cop's....but I wouldnt' think that extended to the authority of the sheriff to actually DISBAND a police department.

Declaring themselves to be in charge, and saying that they are defending the Constitution doesn't make them right. I can do the same thing, and any reasonable person would question me.

I love item 8 of the resolution:

8) Arrest of citizens or seizure of persons or property without first notifying and obtaining the express consent of the local sheriff.

Sounds like the local sheriff is on a power trip. Heil Hitler comes to mind.

The sheriffs are protecting the constitution; just like the founding fathers drew it up. They are the often overlooked fourth branch of government.
