Read it again Brock. Also, I went to HS with Tyler and graduated with his brother. He had always been a very very gifted athlete but had issues with work ethic, attitude, etc... in hs. He was greatly recruited by UNI but didn't get in due to grades (from what I hear). It took a ton of help from a community college teacher his senior year of hs, and summer after, to get into USD. It seems he got things turned around, which is great for him.
I know he just got engaged as well......to a lady that is far from unattractive

I think this guy could end up being the next Urlacher he has the necessary athleticism like the former Chicago Bear MLB did in his playing days.

Re: South Dakota LB ready for NFL Combine
Looking at the NFL.com analysis at http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/tyl ... id=2543857" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and wondering why it matters that a linebacker prospect has small hands. They have that listed as a weakness. I can understand if you're a running back or a wide receiver. But why would small hands be listed among "weaknesses" for a linebacker? I guess theoretically there could be scenarios in which large, strong hands would allow somebody to hang on for a tackle. But I don't think scenarios in which having small hands makes the difference between making a tackle or not are going to be too common.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Re: South Dakota LB ready for NFL Combine
The combine is funny that way, if you are not a "top guy" they will find all sorts of things wrong with you, while if you are a "top guy" they will dismiss the bad as not important. Reminds me of the 40 times. If Clowney would have run a slower 40 time everyone would be saying "40 times aren't that important" but when he does well they all go "SEE... that is why he is the top pick"JohnStOnge wrote:Looking at the NFL.com analysis at http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/tyl ... id=2543857" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and wondering why it matters that a linebacker prospect has small hands.
