Creighton...in the sweet 16?Seahawks08 wrote:First, Doug McDermott is clearly the player of the year so far. Creighton may get to the sweet 16 with him single-handily winning games.
Second, Depaul just won 2 games in a row. In other words, hell just froze over.

There's a reason why I only said to the sweet 16. Their D may be bad, but their O is phenomenal (adj O on kenpom is #1 in the nation). And as of now, they are ranked 6th at Kenpom. Therefore, I can see them getting a 4 or 5 seed and winning 2 games in the tournament.Creighton...in the sweet 16?
Holy **** - funniest thing ever said. Do dine research on them....they are the ultimate definition of tournament bust outs

seriously...go look at their history in the tournament....seriously.Seahawks08 wrote:There's a reason why I only said to the sweet 16. CU had no depth. They have 5 guys averaging 26 minutes are more and only 2 more over 14. McDermott has a losing record in Feb and March because of this. His teams can't play games that close together because by the time late Feb rolls around he is down to a 6 or 7 man only, rotation with 5 guys at 30 mpg during that stretch.
Last year's Creighton team was better than this one....and they've lost their biggest /only defensive threat

quote="clenz"]Dude...I know way more about Creighton right now than you can dream...they were a conference mate of UNI for the last 23 years...
They will win 1 game then lose. It's what they do.
If you dint want to listen to someone who has seen a dozen plus CU games per year the last decade or so...then so be it[/quote
no, you clearly haven't read a single word I've posted.vutomcat wrote:[quote="clenz"]Dude...I know way more about Creighton right now than you can dream...they were a conference mate of UNI for the last 23 years...

Not doubting your experience with Creighton and I hear you. Just voicing my observations of this year's team. Losing year after year early in the tournament does get to be a habit with a lot of programs. Maybe playing a better schedule will toughen them up?

Creighton starting the implosion steely this year?

that's not going to happen every game....Seahawks08 wrote:Creighton starting the implosion steely this year?![]()

Yeah looks like their implosion includes never missing a 3 pointer. Jesus christ.

Anyone can beat anyone when you make 21 3 points...vutomcat wrote:Sometimes it's better to keep it simple. Forget about previous years. This Creighton team is a real threat. Not making light of your experience Clenz. I just think you are slow to realize how good they are because of prior years. If nothing lease they proved they can beat anyone when they are on.
