8/30 @ UNC-Chapel Hill (FBS)
9/6 @ Norfolk State
9/13 vs. BREVARD (D-II)
9/20 vs. BRYANT (Hall of Fame Weekend)
9/27 @ Indiana State
10/4 vs. RICHMOND (Homecoming Weekend)
10/11 @ Appalachian State (FBS)
10/18 BYE
10/25 vs. GARDNER-WEBB (Family Weekend)
11/1 @ Presbyterian
11/8 vs. MONMOUTH (Military Appreciation Day)
11/15 vs. CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
11/22 @ Coastal Carolina
I see anywhere between 6-6 and 8-4 coming out of this schedule. For me, the swing games are IN State and Richmond. In my book, that is NOT a Homecoming game. Bryant or Brevard should have been Homecoming. Liberty's post season chances, as usual, will come down to Chuck South and CCU at the end of the season, and THAT is NOT likely to be pretty. 8-4 will get Liberty the auto-bid, or at least an at-large IF the Flames have a decent showing against either App or the Heels (not likely). These FBS games will NOT be the Ball State easy win of a few years ago.
Tough year coming up for Liberty, IMO....

Liberty's 2014 Schedule Released

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
Re: Liberty's 2014 Schedule Released
This isn't high school. Liberty doesn't schedule patsies for homecoming; they pick a high-draw game and center a ton of activities around it. It draws in more alumni which makes for a better crowd, a better atmosphere, better exposure and makes the alumni who didn't come wish that they had.
