Weber State: Jay Hill has made another big hire from Southern Utah, landing defensive coordinator Justin Ena as well as Steve Clark and Fesi Sitaki (who we previously told you about). Ena will be defensive coordinator at Weber, Clark will be offensive coordinator and Sitake is expected to coach the receivers.
Success breeds this kind of stuff, but sucky for Southern Utah who had a great season and their first playoff berth.

What better team to pillage coaches from than your rivals?
With all the good work they did at SUU I am hoping that Weber can start being competetive again.

I don't recall you saying anything when your OC quit....

If your talking about Pflugrad he must have known that he wasnt one of the options Weber was looking into for the head coaching job, if you knew you could get a HC job somewhere else would you also not leave?

Re: Weber State: You dicks
AFTER Weber was UNSUCCESSFUL at trying to steal Head Coach Ed Lamb away from SUU they hired Hill-billy and then WEBER (not Hill) went after Ena, Clark and Sitake. All three of those guys were in their first ever coaching positions at SUU. Clark had success with the offense while Brad Sorensen was at QB but as soon as Sorensen was drafted by the Chargers, well... we all know how SUU's offense did this year *cough*. As for the defense, I can't say if Ena really had his hands that deep in it or if it was the product of what Lamb has built the past several years here. Lamb's always been a defensive guy. As for Sitake at WR coach position... I don't know that he's going to make waves there, but I can say that Weber picked up one hell of a recruiter in Sitake. I don't expect him to stay with Weber for long... My guess is that the University of Utah or BYU will be knocking on his door eventually.
All in all though, I think the new D Coordinator for SUU is a stud and will work well with what Lamb likes to do. And I know of at least 2 candidates that are looking at the O-Coordinator position, both of which are better in their trade than Clark. (No disprespect to Steve.. he's a great guy.)
I really don't point the finger at Coach Hill for going after the SUU staff, the AD at Weber was hot on the entire SUU Football coaching staffs trail long before Hill got the job. Hill certainly wasn't Weber's first choice. I laughed pretty hard when I read Hill's press release though, talking about how he "went to SUU and took what he thought was the best coaches SUU had". Your boss already was probing SUU before you fell into your job Hill. Nice to see you're playing the puppet role though and making it appear that it was of your own devise. You've done nothing but fuel the fire. SUU will dominate Weber in the years to come.

FALSE!! WSU head coach Hill drove down to Cedar City himself to recruit Ena, Clark, and SitakeSUUThunder wrote:AFTER Weber was UNSUCCESSFUL at trying to steal Head Coach Ed Lamb away from SUU they hired Hill-billy and then WEBER (not Hill) went after Ena, Clark and Sitake.
