Hmm. I could get behind dropping a good portion of consular work that deals with immigrant visas. Go back to the traditional consular function of assisting Americans overseas and nonimmigrant visas. But then DHS would take over immigrant visas and at that point there would be no fraud prevention. Just stamp em and bring em on in.

and she told me 66% of them could be let go and it wouldn't do a thing

sadly ALL giant Federal entities function similarly in this regard

However:
