Re: NAU VS. SDSU
Geeze Zenner is fast. This is the first time I've seen him play and I must admit I was influenced by racial tendencies. He's fast.

Zenner loves the first round of the playoffs! How many yards did he have last year 300+?

Re: NAU VS. SDSU
I think NAU is really missing having their head coach right now.
Re: NAU VS. SDSU
I know a lot of time left but seems like the game is over
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or fucking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. Al Swearengen

Well, NAU's pulled several wins out this season in this type of situation. Souers was on the sideline in those cases, though.Bronco wrote:I know a lot of time left but seems like the game is over

I bet money that false start on SDSU just now was deliberate.

Re: NAU VS. SDSU
If I were a SDSU fan I'd be wanting them to just give it to Zenner every play. Their receivers obviously don't match up well with NAU's secondary. They're not going to get open. They have a 9 point lead and Zenner obviously can take it the distance on any one play. I'd just be feeding him over and over again.

You won't find a jacks fan who has a problem with this...I'm just glad everyone else gets a chance to appreciate him. Also appreciate the Bison have pretty much held him to less than 50 yards every game. Think about that.....JohnStOnge wrote:If I were a SDSU fan I'd be wanting them to just give it to Zenner every play. Their receivers obviously don't match up well with NAU's secondary. So...about this big sky defense I've been hearing about
9.2 ypc....he averaged 4.2 in conference play.
It is no secret that zz is their entire offense....yet ooc teams can't handle him

Re: NAU VS. SDSU
Look at the ypc in the mvfc games.
Was over 5 ypc only twice...WIU and YSU
Two best games of the season for zz? Both Big Sky teams
It took him 30 carries in mvfc games to get to 120 yards or more...

????????? Pretty typical MVFC defense right now...not a lot of quit throughout the entire game.

You will get a chance to prove how much better you are next weekend.JackJD wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:NAU is much better in the dome, at elevation. Sioux Falls is 1,442 feet above sea level. They'll be sucking wind by halftime. NAU wins by 10.

Good thing the Big Sky had two teams with byes so their fans will have at least one more week to feel shameful

Wait is there elevation? I would enjoy another week of talking about how elevation affects the body.......
Re: NAU VS. SDSU
Well, I guess you really told me. Fortunately, none of the idiot posters who were making the bold predictions early in this thread will have much to say about the outcome of this game or the one next week at EWU.EWURanger wrote:You will get a chance to prove how much better you are next weekend.JackJD wrote:

I wasn't involved in the elevation discussions. I don't think it makes much of a difference to be honest.Theee Catrabbit wrote:EWURanger wrote:

Which bold predictions? Or is this the typical MVFC butthurt/we're disrespected/NDSU coattail tripe you see everywhere?JackJD wrote:Well, I guess you really told me. In 2 weeks the big sky will be done. Eastern Washington is the best team in the Big Sky but I don't think they are a top 5 team and could be knocked out by anyone, even South Dakota State.

Complications from back surgery. Couldn't make the game, apparently.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:What happened to Souers?Mvemjsunpx wrote:I think NAU is really missing having their head coach right now.
D-Coordinator pulling double duty can't be good, plus NAU seemed to really deflate after that 14-point swing that tied it at 7. Gotta wonder if that demoralization would've stuck with Souers on the field.
