Does EWU beat the winner of this game?
More probably than not. But I think their odds would be slightly better if it's Northern Arizona. I know it's a different offense but I keep thinking about how they got ripped by Sam Houston State's running game. And though I haven't seen South Dakota State this year if they're like they've been in the past I expect a very physical running game that really goes after the defense.

Just so y'all can see that I'm not completely whacked on saying South Dakota State is a slight favorite, I found a site called bettingexpress.com that lists the favorites in the games. I haven't been able to find lines yet. Just this list of favorites. Here it is from http://www.bettingexpress.com/news/spor ... 36297.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;:
Lafayette (5-6) at X-New Hampshire (7-4), noon (ESPN3) - Hey, the Leopards can finish their season with a winning record ... by reaching the national semifinals.

Furman (7-5) at X-South Carolina State (9-3), 1 p.m., (ESPN3) - Intrastate battle basically too close to call.

Bethune-Cookman (10-2) at X-Coastal Carolina (10-2), 1 p.m., (ESPN3) - It's a rematch of last year's 24-14 win by Coastal in the first round.

Sacred Heart (10-2) at X-Fordham, 1 p.m., (ESPN3) - Michael Nebrich looked pretty healthy last weekend.

X-Tennessee State (9-3) at Butler (9-3), 1 p.m., (ESPN3) - Bulldogs still dazed over the fact they are hosting a playoff game.

Southern Utah (8-4) at X-Sam Houston State (8-4), 3 p.m., (ESPN3) - You can spell "Sam Houston State" without a "D." The Bearkats need to notice soon.

X-South Dakota State (8-4) at Northern Arizona (9-2), 8 p.m., (ESPN3) - Eleven inches of snow in Flagstaff last weekend? Let's play this one outdoors.

X-Samford (8-4) at Jacksonville State (9-3), 8 p.m., (ESPN3) - Host Gamecocks hold a 22-21-2 series edge, but they haven't met since 2007.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

It's not the running game, it's the deceptive style of the running game with multiple multiple looks of SHSU's read option. NAU has a very similar running game to SDSU, so really, it doesn't matter who wins.

If I'm NAU, I'm putting 8 in the box on most every play.

Makes me sad that our Big Sky Brothers couldn't get more fans in the stands

When SDSU was on offense I could hear individuals making noise
I know the students are gone but is the whole town gone too

Yep. SDSU is the definition of one dimensional.

NAU's secondary can hold up on islands, too.

SDSU's offense is painful to watch. NAU's, same for the most part, but at least they try and throw it every once in a blue moon.

OMG, points!!!!!

Bauman scores from 9 yards out. 7-0 NAU. The Lumberjacks opened up the offense a bit & got SDSU off balance.

They need to take another look at that one. Ball was out before he was down.

It looks like SDSU might lose the ball after the review. It was close, but looks like a fumble.

Can't believe people on AGS were picking SDSU to make a run to the title game. Very unimpressive so far.

Stop with the "speed and recovery ability" of the NAU secondary. They were toasted and SDSU's QB just underthrew the ball.

NAU really must not trust their QB.

Cartwright's the pocket QB, but he keeps trying to run at the slightest provocation.

Then an NAU receiver fumbles. :ohno:
