Weber 9-2.

The Wildcats have a good chance to win one of their two FBS games and lose only one of their nine FCS games.

Well NAU does get them at home, who knows, maybe.

Hey maybe this is also the year Weber wins in Missoula? huh huh who's with me?
Poor Jerome, who was very popular at UM, 0-11 with an average 17 point deficit.

It was only 22 years ago that Weber last delivered in Missoula. You got our attention last year, as you might have noticed in the playoffs. Our kids had trouble adjusting to the big crowd in Ogden last year (3704); that won't be a problem in Missoula.

Everyone from Weber is hastily penciling in a W against the woeful Wyoming Cowboys. Can anyone tell me the last time Wyoming lost a home game to an opponent from either FCS, 1-AA, or Division II?

Until then, I am calling bullshit on this premise!

Last year Wyoming sucked ass, but still beat Tennessee, San Diego State, Ohio, and yes even the always awesome North Dakota State, who's fans were also penciling in a W, but not nearly as blatantly as the Weber followers.

It would be if it were true. Like most of your posts, it isn't.

2008 19-3 UM
2007 24-23 UM
2006 33-17 UM
2005 34-20 EWU
2004 31-28 UM
2003 41-10 UM

UM 24-10-1 for the series. EWU's winning percentage is but .294, hardly a "hard time." It's the third best in the BSC behind MSU and PSU (.340 and .306).

I think Montana State can finish 8-3 with a possible trip to the playoffs. I think we will go 2-1 out of conference with wins against South Dakota, the DII team we play and a loss at Michigan State. We can go 6-2 in conference with possible losses to Weber, Montana or EWU. We do have Montana in Bozeman, so it should be very close game that can go either way. We are due to beat EWU some time.

We will have possibly the best defense in the Big Sky this year. As long as our offense gets healthy and can put 21+ points on the board we will be in the hunt for the conference title.

I expect The Island Others to have a solid season. We will defeat the Oceanic 6 easily and then take down the Widmore Wussies in the title game.

North Dakota State lost by 3 At Wyoming last year, and didnt make the playoffs. Weber made it to the qrt finals, Guess what Cal Poly beat SDSU last year to, in San Diego, and then Cal Poly lost at home to Weber State.

Sacramento State lost at CSU last season by 3 the game itself should have gone into overtime, Weber State won at Sacramento State.

Believe it or not, Weber fans are excited because the chance of beating both Wyoming and CSU is better than alot of people think, especially when you have a top 5 offense. Yeah they beat NDSU, but if NDSU was good last year, they would have made the playoffs.

Wrong again. MSU won 3 of 4 against Montana between 2002 and 2005.

Weber has a decent chance to win both games, but I would not put my money on them for either. Weber was good enough last year for both teams to take them seriously.

Wow! Are you kidding me? WYOMING has NEVER lost to a DIAA school! We have beat better DIAA schools than Weber State, in Montana State, Applachian St, and Furman! It will be the beginning of a new era in Cowboy Football, so i wouldnt be so confident that you can win, let alone win IN LARAMIE!! Pokes big 42 to 17!!

Wyoming plays Texas at home right before they play Weber then they play at Colorado, dont be surprised if Wyoming might take it a little easy with the game vs Weber, but if they do, I'll tell you right now, they will pay for it. If Wyoming wins it will be alot closer than that. More like maybe a 28 to 24 win or maybe a 35 to 27 win, but it wont be 42-17, Wyoming is no BYU, UTAH, Boise State or TCU.

New eras don't generally begin well. Wyoming had no offensive talent last year and I doubt that's changed overnight.

Wyoming beat a good but not great Montana State team. Weber should be a bit better this year than MSU was in '03 (Weber went to the quarterfinals last year and they were the only team to beat Montana in the regular season). They beat App State in 2004, the last year App didn't make the playoffs. The only notably good FCS team the Cowboys beat was Furman in '01, but that was only a 6 point win.

Wyoming better gear up for that game because I'm guessing Weber is the more talented team, particularly on offense.

All comparisons of course, theoretically speaking..

Here's a number for you, difference of 22 full scholarships, and again, it has been over 30 years since Wyoming has lost a game at home against lower division opponents, and they play them almost every year, and Wyoming has had more than it's share of not so swift teams.

7200 feet, home opener, new coach, sellout crowd...two touchdowns, minimum... :|

No they are not, but they have just as much or more talent, Mcbride is a very good recriuting coach, and now Weber is playing with his players. There was a reason the University of Utah was so successful when Mcbride was the head coach. Weber is getting alot of good players that normaly wouldnt come to play there, Mcbride is the reason for that. Do you think a quality QB like Higgins would have come to Weber if it werent for Mcbride? Nobody else in the state of Utah wanted Trevyn Smith, Mcbride picked him up, and look at what happened, Trevyn Smith has led the Big Sky in Rushing 3 years in a row, and is now, Weber State's all time leading rusher, and thats saying alot after what Nick Chournos did at Weber.

Hopefully this year your O-Coordinator or Mcbride whoever it was that was calling the plays in the montana playoff game realizes that this year and actually runs the ball inside the ten and not three passes in a row, i couldnt believe what i was seeing. Horrible coaching on Webers part there.
