I'm missing how PSU playing us tough- as always- has anything to do with the way the grizzz would play against us. If and when we play UM again, we would dominate them. Matchups...

Tell me how the Griz put 50+ on MSU yesterday. Pretty sure they didn't stop us once. Both UM and MSU are overrated. Had Baldwin not gone conservative, the Griz would've lost by 25.

I could personally give a rip whether Montana fans consider us a rival or not. EWU has no natural rival, and I am fine with that. We've beaten Montana 3 of the past 4 years, so my guess is the UM coaching staff and players have a healthy respect for our program, even if Griz fans do not.
Maybe someday someone will care enough to be EWU's arch rival. God knows what else BF and SE have been working towards all these years

Every week is a rivalry when you have a target on your back....at least that what Griz fans ONCE said...awhile ago...
Regarding targets on backs, they said something more along the lines of "everybody circles the griz on their schedule, it's like their super bowl, we get everyone's best game".
