One is flat and empty, the other is bumpy and empty. Not really seeing much of a difference.GrizFanStuckInUtah wrote:One of these is not like the other....

Better. I watched the Aerial America episode for North Dakota in HD while drinking a beer on my couch. The best part was that when the hour was over, I wasn't in ND and still had more beer.Cap'n Cat wrote:89Hen wrote: Like there's a difference between ND, SD, MT, WY, etc...

Recommend a trip. Get off the Interstate, get up close. Guarantee you won't have the same thoughts. Same for you, Z, you know-it-all Texas Klan gorillla.
Tell you what - next June, Hen, D, Z and me meet in Minneapolis and take a tour of the northern Great Plains in my truck. Interested?

It is pretty. But that video looks just like the one for Wyoming, Idaho, Alaska, North Dakota.... I'm sure all very pretty, but if it were so great, why don't more people live there?Grizalltheway wrote:I dare you to watch this and then try to claim it ain't the most beautiful place on earth.

How did I get dragged into this? I think North Dakota has some of the most beautiful spots on the planet within its borders.Cap'n Cat wrote:89Hen wrote: Ah, one of them big mouth bass that love to bite.

Well, they aren't exactly economic hot spots, excluding the oil boom in the Bakken area. Also not everyone enjoys the slower paced, simpler lifestyle that living in them generally entails.89Hen wrote:It is pretty.
