Wesley is a private Methodist school in Dover DE with an enrollment of only 2,300. The campus is tiny and their athletics facilities are not up to D2 standards. FCS is not feasible to discuss at this point. That being said, they have a great (though morbidly obese) football coach in Mike Drass and are a perennial D3 power, just a tick under the big two of Mount Union and WI-Whitewater.dal4018 wrote:Wonder when they will make that move to D1?!?!kramersid wrote:Wesley, who is a major power at the D3 level, went on the road and defeated Charleston Southern pretty handedly in 2011 as well. While this Charlotte game was a surprise to most, the Wolverines are a D3 Independent who are willing to play anyone and I believe could compete with a lot of FCS and D2 teams.

Yes.
Why is that hard to believe/what makes you think they would move up if they could (and they can't because the state of WI will never allow it)
