Thanks to you overprotective assholes, not a single location in America made this list. The free market needs to be unchained and allowed to reach its full potential. :coffee:

Come the fuck on. How did Detroit, Norfolk, or NYC make the list? Hell, the biggest polluter out there is Hollywood so, wouldn't California be tops?

After leaving this behind in Minnesota, where they spill the oil on your yard and not in the oil field.

Minnesota saw 57 oil pipeline spills since 2000

Automation. We still lead the world in manufacturing, we just don't need to have that many people sitting around watching the machines do most of the work. Kalm is still stuck in the '50's when almost everything in a manufacturing site needed to be handled by a person. Now you can load up a machine, hit "run" and sit back in a chair for hours while the machine works. Damn progress. :coffee:

You still need people to set up, program, maintain the robots and CNC machines; perform QC oversight and handle assembly issues.

Jon, I've had a rail line immediately adjacent to two of my properties, and a main high pressure NG line behind one. There are risks, but the rail and gas industry have acted reasonably to prevent any incidents, and they routinely notify me of any work going on by my properties. I in turn, rest easy knowing my "tolerance" of their proximity allows them to transport food and goods to the rest of the country; and gas for heat and cooking for a few million people.

You've become so blinded by your hatred of "business", you no longer rationally view the non-discretionary requirements to support society.

Local government, but that doesn't change the fact that most companies no longer give a rat's ass about anything other than short term profits and shareholder value.

Oh bloody hell...and the obsession continues....

GATW's point is spot on and I'm sorry your conk feelings are hurt so much. Tman is too much the Partisan hack to grasp these concepts but I'm hoping you're not...

Corporations are apolitical, a-human entities. They're job is to maximize profits. They have no compassion, they have no ethics...which, btw is fine.

Some countries attempt to recognize this and some...not so much. Polluting the land and people is wrong. So is wage arbitrage. You apparently disagree.

Congrats on all of that. :thumb:
