Attention TSN: Montana State has two losses, one of which is a 52-38 shellacking (in which they gave up 567 yards) at the hands of a 3-6 Stephen F Austin team. One of their wins is against mighty Colorado Mesa...a DII. WTF?

Attention TSN: Maine is 8-1, with no DIIs on the schedule, and have split two games with FBS teams. WTF?

Hard to take TSN seriously...there is some serious crap going on in this poll.

Attention Cluck: Maine is counting NSU and Bryant as two of their wins and started much lower in the polls...

Attention kalm...none of that changes the fact the MSU LOST, and gave up 52 points and 500+ yards, to a 3-6 team. Not a good team...a 3-6 team! Where does that happen to the 4th best team in the country in any reality? :suspicious:

McNeeese got blasted, absolutely blasted, TWICE this year...the last one just this past weekend. There's no, "Well, they've recovered/changed schemes/proven themselves since/etc. argument...they simply got blasted twice, by two different teams, at two completely different times in the season. And their offense got held to UNDER 200 yards this past weekend, and held to just 280 versus UNI. :dunce:

That's the problem with polls...and the dolts who say, "it doesn't matter...just win." That is simply not true. Most pollsters are too lazy to change their polls to reflect reality. They start a poll with worthless information and then make as few changes as possible in order to look smart, methodical, and reasonable.

Input garbage, output garbage.

As much as I dislike and mistrust Monsanto, I think it's the USDA's job to ensure food safety, and I think it's the consumers job to be aware of potentially harmful consumption.

Wasn't the vote about making sure the products were labeled as GMO...and thus giving consumers the ability to be informed?

 CCU keeps winning, they keep their #5 slot in the CS Poll even though NOBODY picked them to be a quarterfinalist when I asked. Not one person. :dunce:

Sorry, must have been another thread. I said I know that The Cats will make it to the Quarter Finals, but then lose (like they do every year).

If that is the case, then whoever is running the numbers is messing up. I doubt that. As it's been stated previously, the old guard is changing in some ways and some schools are making their way into the Top 25 (Chas. So) and Top 10.

Riddle me this, Batman: If 9-0 CCU or a 9-1 Chas. So was NOT ranked, would you question that? :coffee: Or would you just be biased against a traditionally weak conference because traditionally they weren't as strong as the surround conferences (SoCon.) Would you still rank SoCon teams if they were 5-4 or 5-5 because traditionally they've been strong? Last season was just that...last season. The only wins that matter are this years. :twocents: :coffee:

I have absolutely nothing against TSU, but they are clearly not a Top 25 team. I understand your frustration though. You have been jocking them for weeks now and they keep letting you down. I learned long ago to not trust any OVC team as far as you can throw them.

BTW, why do people constantly try to insert the team of their discussion-mate when it has nothing to do with the discussion?

I think you read that wrong. What I'm saying is that voters are lazy. They had CCU at X, they win, they move up a spot or two. By the time they get to 6-0, they are way up the ladder and too many people are either too lazy or afraid to move a team down that won. If CCU had a CAA schedule, they would not be 9-0.

On your Batman question, I'm not sure I follow. I'm not saying CCU shouldn't be ranked at all, but I wonder how so many people have them in their top 5-6 but nobody thinks they will make the quarterfinals. If you don't think a team is a quarterfinalist, how can you put them higher than 9?

My little BB gun works just fine. I am not worried about being just another plaything, I don't have to pay for the replacement hip. Back on track, MSU will just have to prove they belong at #5 by beating EWU. If they don't, then they won't be #5. If they take care of business and beat EWU and UM, then we will see what happens in the playoffs. Great thing is, it will all be settled by the players on the field, not by fat idiots like you and I.

I have great self-esteem. I am also a very honest "non-person". I don't live in some Jock Sniffing Fantasy world like you do. I look at things objectively, with thought and reason as my co-pilots. As the Zen philosopher Basha once wrote, 'A flute with no holes, is not a flute. A donut with no hole, is a Danish.' He was a funny guy.
