Guess ive just had too much heartbreak to get my hopes up. This way I wont be so dissapointedmtjack wrote:I'm trying not to be a smart ass here but do you expect blowout victories every game? The Jacks are 6-2. Ranked. Third place out of 13 teams. Great opportunistic defense and rare for NAU talent @running back. Jacks have found ways to win games they would have lost in the past. I've sat through enough 5-7 or 6-6 seasons that i wont take success by my alma mater for granted. Instead of focusing on the potential collapse, im going to enjoy the moment.jacksdude0109 wrote:Did you see the score at half time? And I absolutely hate souers , he should have been gone years ago.

You have missed my FIRE SOUERS threads over the years. Not satisfied with mediocrity. NAU should be 8-3 or better every year, with the recruiting advantage we have.jacksdude0109 wrote:I love NAU fans. Completely satisfied with mediocrity for years. Well get em next year guys. Prepare for dissapointment at the end of the season, as usual
The last couple of years have been different - actually giving me hope.

Yes, when fans get complacent about winning there is always another alternative.SuperHornet wrote:Sort of reminds me of the "Bobby's gotta go" crowd of a few years back.

Flagstaff's in the middle of nowhere. It's extra-southern Utah.

Arizona, So Cal, very few teams in area. Flagstaff is closest FCS school to a lot of great recruits. And Missoula is also in the Middle of nowhere

Flagstaff is nothing like those areas climatology-wise; it's weather is more like Montana, CO, etc. If a player doesn't want to live in a snowy environment, they aren't gonna go to NAU. It's also difficult to travel to.dbackjon wrote:Mvemjsunpx wrote:

Northern Arizona may as well be a different state from Southern Arizona.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or fucking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. Al Swearengen

Beating Cal Poly was key. Their remaining schedule is virtually choke-proof. Even losing to SUU shouldn't cost them a bid, so they'd have to lose to NoDak or NoCo at home to miss the playoffs. Pretty much no chance…Bronco wrote:-
